The staff were great, the resort atmosphere, the parties, the food was excellent!!!

This was our first time at Temptations and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. An amazing party resort with amazing staff, such lively and interesting people from all over and such great food in every restaurant. As people who are in the lifestyle, we were very pleased with this experience. However, there was a lot of people who were not and just absolutely loved how free and open everyone was. Their parties and games are crazy. A lot of fun in the sexy pool. Do not miss out. I found there was a good ratio of young people as my partner and I are in our mid-20s. However, no matter what the age, everyone we met was lovely. The sky lounge was our favourite! Get their chicken wingsss! Music is okay. I felt it was much better late at night though. Wanted to hear more Spanish music or like reggaeton, bachata, dancehall. Overall, a blast. No complaints really. I just felt like it would be nice if the sports bar was open 24/7 and served food. Also, maybe change the location of the sports bar. I feel it’s too hidden. It would also be nice for servers to come around and give nice drinks out as opposed to waiting long at the bar. The shows could also use improvement. Also change the themes! They weren’t the best. LOL okay so I had minor minor complaints, but I’ll end on this note. It will be hard to go to any other inclusive resort now with the bar set so high from temptations. Will definitely be returning!

This was our second time there and we love it. So quiet, luxurious, attentive and serene. Aldo is an amazing head of butlers and is top notch. We miss our folks from the last time but he was still there and took great care of us. Seaweed is a concern for this whole carribean/gulf region but they work hard to control it. The seaweed was better this year. Likely environmental. You can't go wrong if you wave to relax and have peace. We are young there and we are mid 40's. Average age is about 55 it seems. We were the only Black people there the whole time we were there and that was on the other properties as well as far as we could see. Let's just say everyone knew who we were and where we stayed. Still an awesome experience and worth the money for what you get!

Overall it was good. Nice swimming pools and staffs. I had to change the room because of smell but it took 2 hours to change so it was waste of time.

We were very pleased with our stay at Ventus at Marina El Cid. It was quieter than Marina El Cid side of the property but we could access everything. The staff was kind and accommodating. By booking “platinum” through Expedia we had added things such as a butler. The weather was not great for beach time (high winds) and it isn’t a great beach area in general. That’s probably my only negative comment. If you are traveling for the beach in particular, I’d look in a different area closer to Cancun where the beach is more useable. We were content with the pools and other offerings at Ventus so our stay was still great.

This was our second year at Marina. We went back because the price was right and we had such a great time last year. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and very well-maintained. The kids pool is fantastic! The food is pretty good for an all inclusive resort, But it is difficult to make reservations at reasonable dinner hours. The service cannot be beat. Every single person was warm and friendly and very accommodating.
