The hotel was nice and the staff were friendly ,the only down side was I was waiting on a delayed bag from the airport and after asking one member of staff twice in a period of 12 hours they said the bag had not arrived and this was after I had written my room number and spelt my name so they would have the correct spelling, but the next afternoon when I he arrived back the member of staff I had spoken too previously about my bag said it had arrived the day before and that called my room but didn't get a reply ,this was about 20 hours before I spoke with the member of staff who had said the bag had not arrived,it seemed there had not been communication between the staff at the change over.apart from this we had a great stay.
"Fabulous location. Across from the train station. "
Rooms were clean and modern. Breakfast buffet was large and with lots of local cheeses, breads, vegetables and fruits. Hotel exchange US dollars at a good rate.
Parking nearby at 14 Euro a day, was cheap. Although the general area not that great for walking, being across the train station, we found some great chineses restaurants around the block.
Overall, great experience.
"excellent hotel very close to venice main attracti"
the hotels location is perfect ,i repeat perfect if u want to avoid paying higher prices in main .venice ,the airport bus stops less than five minutes from the hotel ,the no 2 bus stop and railway is right across the road ,and there is a nice place to eat called café india, the bus takes u to plaza roma in 10 minutes ,from there venice is your oyster .the hotel provides an amazing selection of food for breakfast ,the best I have seen in all the hotels I stay in , I have no problem in saying the hotel is a gtreat place to stay
"TEN MINS BY BUS NUMBER 5 OR 19 TO CITY BUS STATION"
Everything is ok in this hotel except having difficulty in showering as the glass panel is too small and the silicone seal is not properly seal / Have to squat down to shower as the water is splashing out from the glass panel and from the long bath panel / water is everywhere !!!
This was our first time in Venice and due to high prices on Venice itself we looked for somewhere just outside. This hotel was perfect for this. 5 mins walk to #5 bus which takes you to Venice in 15 mins. Really easy. You can buy tickets at hotel. Staff all lovely. Room clean and modern. Good breakfast buffet. Hotel even picked us up from airport. All very nice and very easy. Would recommend!
My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 3 days before the cruise. The location of the hotel is excellent. We took the atvc from airport to the hotel, it only took 20 mins including a short walk from the bus station to the hotel. The walk was flat and easy walk. The hotel reception staff were friendly and professional but the breakfast staff was not as friendly and professional. The buffet breakfast was included in our package and it was good. The hotel sell atvc ticket so we don't have to lineup at the train terminal. The train station to Venice is across the street from the hotel.
Friendly staff. Comfortable hotel with good facilities for short stay. Ideal location for visit to Venice although bus rides generally not a pleasurable experience. Would be nice if tea/coffee was available in the room.
After spending busy days in Venice this hotel was a nice quiet oasis. If you are arriving by train it is less than a ten minute walk. If you come by bus, contact the hotel to find out which one stops the closest. The breakfast buffet was very good with lots of choice.
We were glad that we spent one morning exploring Mestre. It has a very attractive city centre with a great market. It is about a 25 minute walk from the hotel.
This hotel was outstanding, booked via a trip advisor recommendation, it is rated a 3 star, it most definitely 4 star standard.... Hotel staff were just wonderful, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Location was good, easy bus route straight into Venice.
Would highly recommend this establishment, worth every penny and more.

Northwest of Venice on the mainland, Mestre is often used by travelers as a base for exploring Venice and the Veneto. Piazza Ferretto, Mestre's pedestrian-friendly main square, includes cafes, shops, and the town's 12th-century watchtower. The Brenta Canal, famous for its elegant Palladian villas, empties into the lagoon next to Mestre and stretches to the historic university city of Padua.
