Cannot fault the property at all. Staff in all areas of the hotel were welcoming and friendly always. Only areas for improvement could be 2nd floor ceiling as exiting the lift and enforcing that catering staff use the tongs to put out pastries instead of their hands as this was a total turn off. Overall a brilliant stay and would come again! Thank you

The bar has a lovely atmosphere with excellent customer service. The room was comfortable but a bit noisy around.

The hotel was fine, however our room was a bit tired. The bed was terrible though, felt like sleeping on bricks, no sleep at all that night. Told reception in the morning. Maybe they should get Premier Inn beds.

Rooms were okay, need a deep clean and revamp but staff were lovely and helpful. Starbucks right there in the recpetion was great. Pool was lovely but jacuzzi was not hot. Pub and grill was nice. Would recommend for a short stay

No to the Bar & Grill
The Club rooms are decent with great beds but problem with this hotel is the quality and choice of food being mainly themed around an American fast food dinner. The only thing I fancied was the Rack of Ribs but they didn't have any and I was told they hadn't for ages by the waiter so i chose the Mixed Grill but honestly after waiting 45 mins (not so fast) it was hardly edible the meat was tuff and dried out. I mentioned this to the server and all I got was a quick I'm sorry before he hurried away quickly. On check out they said they would email me the invoice which didn't arrive. I had to ring the hotel to ask for a copy which I’m still waiting on.

Booked a club room, booked in given key, went to room, clearly not a club room, went back told I had been given a family room as all club rooms over booked, charged the same and no offer of reduction even though room was not up to the same standard.

Great friendly staff throughout, nothing too much trouble The bedroom & spa was tired and the spa around the beds was dirty, had to ask the pool attendant to clean it , which he did straight away.

Non club rooms are dated
Having stayed previously in club rooms, was disappointed to find the normal double rooms to be dated and need of modernisation, especially the bathroom. The tap in the sink leaked. Room cleaning was done to a poor standard. Cobwebs and dust on the walls. Hair was found in the mugs too.

I liked the staff and the pool and even the room. It was just so, soooo loud. I could hear every word of every song they played at the event they had on downstairs until 1am and then I heard guests tumbling down the corridor and I heard them outside in the carpark and I really don't think it's sound proofed. You can't charge £100 a night if your not sound proofed.

I stay away a lot for work and this is possibly the worst hotel I've stayed in. Paint falling off the walls, mould on the bathroom ceiling and holes in the wall. To add to this the walls were paper thin. Ordered room service and waited over an hour and it never came, had to go down to reception to find out they weren't even cooking it. Will stay elsewhere when I'm back in Cardiff.

Easy access hotel with loads of parking
Good hotel on outskirts of Cardiff just off the Motorway. Loads of free parking at the weekend. Room nice and quiet. Restaurant not too busy. On site Starbucks for breakfast in addition to the restaurant.

Room was dated n worn needs update.. bathroom had hairs on the floor on my arrival n same hairs in place on departure 2nights later!!!! Very disappointing stayed at village hotels a lot for work trips by far the worse I won’t return.

Hotel has changed not for the better. Room was dusty, housekeeping came out quickly to rectify. Rooms need deep clean . Buffet breakfast cold. Went to spa, pool so cold could not have a swim. Steam room, sauna and jacuzzi lovely.
