"Our stay at Gap Mercantile was amazing. The unique experience of staying in what was once part of a general store was like going back in time, but of course it had all the modern amenities. The owners were absolutely wonderful. They were helpful throughout the stay, and we ended up spending a couple of hours talking to them and hanging out in the store because they were just great people. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area!"

"We loved our stay and the surrounding area. The property manager Michael was attentive and helpful with our requests. It's a beautiful place for a family or a couple to relax and enjoy nature. The cell phone signal is weak in that area, but we didn't mind any technology time. Just download your map ahead of time. There are plenty of things to do outdoors, especially if you bring or rent ATVs. Overall we would definitely will come back another time."

"Wonderful experience with this property and hosts. Everything was just as advertised. It's a beautiful piece of history with a real southern elegance of hospitality added to the experience. Communication with host was definitely 5 star and very proactive. Our only regret was that we only were there for one night. I can definitely see us staying there again."

"Perfect place to unwind and getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin is little but was clean, cute, and well stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. Kitty was great to work with, communicating regularly and making sure everything was up to par. Several little things were a pleasant surprise such as homemade snickerdoodles, pine knot for the fire pit, stocked coffee pods, fishing gear, etc. Beautiful and serene place."

"We needed a place to stay for one night. This property was far above any hotel room we could have found. The Farmhouse building is about the size of a nice bedroom and bathroom. It does have only a queen size bed which I did not see listed in any of the descriptions. But we were gifted with chocolate chip cookies. Yum! "Cute little cabin was nice and clean, absolutely loved the old record player made for a great touch to the cabin, forgot my shampoo and conditioner and there was some in the bathroom for us was a relief to find! Very friendly owner! Wonderful experience."
