Lovely Hotel, very comfortable rooms, staff very friendly, we enjoyed our stay there.
The swimming pool in the gardens is really nice, enough sun beds for the customers, never been a battle to find one as it could be in other hotels. Its no longer in the sun by 4.30pm but for the sunlovers you can then move to the swimming pool on the roof top, not as nice as the other one but the views from up there is incredible.
we only tried the hotel pizzeria restaurant and the food was great, lots of choices.
The hotel is close to the biggest beach in Malta (5min by bus) and to a street with plenty of restaurants to try.
The only 2 things they could improve on is the Wifi connexion, it works but is veryyyyyy slow and their breakfast.
I didn't like the juices they offered as it was more like squash and didn't tasted very good and they could add maybe more pastries, I dont eat cook breakfast so choice was more limited.
After long tiring journey would have liked a better welcome instead of having to move to another hotel. We accepted the circumstances and resolved to move then to be told 'its only 5 minutes walk away'. We asked for a cab, which was provided. Then we were told we would have to move back to original hotel the next day. This spoilt the first day of our break as we couldn't relax and unpack. Never mind after this all was well. Room was clean and adequate although the view wasn't as good as 1st hotel (which is why we wanted to remain there). Bed was so hard and uncomfortable and the room was next to an electricity generator so kept us awake (1405). Staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful facilities good. We didn't try evening food but prices looked ok. Situation on a steep hill but bus stop right opposite and i would recommend getting the weekly bus tickets very good deal €6.40 and takes you anywhere on the island.

Hotel was great, clean and comfortable. The staff have poor customer service. Anything you ask is an effort. No smiles no "hello how may I help you"
The bar staff sit in groups and make you feel intimidated, they again do not rush to serve you. The staff let down a great hotel.
A short 4 night stay in Malta. Lovely simple rooms with, in my experience, lovely balcony and views. Easy access from the road with small car park and parking room on side streets. Close to all amenities. Breakfast was both hot and cold with alternate scrambled and hard boiled eggs with no disappointments other than the use of UHT milk and no yoghurt. Evening entertainment was available but could NOT be heard in rooms. WIFI really is free but could only receive signal by the room door, other than downstairs in reception. Pool lovely but small. Whole building was aesthetically pleasing. Room cleaning services were fantastic and owner/manager very helpful with advice on things to do.
As a family with two very young girls, the hotel was perfect: two child-friendly pools and a paddling pool too, a private sandy beach, a little playground, a playroom with daily activities. Buffet-style meals making it easy to tailor meals for the kids. I would definitely recommend this to any young family looking for a good, safe holiday.

Beachfront resort set in extensive landscaped grounds on the northernmost shore of Malta, with views of Gozo and Comino. With …More
Mellieha Bay boasts the largest sandy beach in Malta, with a golden arc of gently shelving sand providing family-friendly bathing. All the usual water sports are on offer here, and there are further beaches close by. Set high on a hill above is the traditional old town, largely unaffected by the bustle below and with a very fine church. In summer the beaches are crowded and on weekends long traffic jams occur.
