This is a wonderful building, looks much older than it actually is.
Loads of character, full of charm and wood panelling.
In places a little tired, however I can imagine is a real money pit.
Views wonderful, absolutely tranquil, lovely grounds.
They have their own woodland walk (more of an arboretum) with a wide variety of trees, including sequoias.
Room was typical of a B&B in a Victorian building, but bathroom seemed to be going update, already fitted with new suite and shower, underfloor heating and tiling, and all was clean and comfortable.
Host bought in fresh flowers to our room and even an extra heater (although we didn't need it as was quite warm enough) but very thoughtful
WiFi available, but somewhat slow and variable (I guess the down side of a very rural location)
Barbara and Carlo couldn't have been more friendly and kind, and provided a great breakfast.
All in all a great stay, good value for money, great location, would definitely stay again, to be recommended.
