For a family looking to keep the food budget under control I’d recommend stocking up on basics from the supermarket including a few local Tusker beers (hire a care or book a driver to get around). The comfortable and well appointed bungalows have a full kitchen so quick breakfasts, lunches/snacks etc are easy to prepare yourself. Great Christmas for our family of 5 enjoying ‘island time’! There were 4 kayaks, unfortunately 2 were missing storage covers so would likely fill with water. The other 2 did not have these storage areas so we're fine. The water is calm in this area making a paddle most enjoyable. Being a cyclists I was happy to read they had loaner bikes. I was disappointed to see the biggest of them were bmx type bikes. Better than nothing though so i checked them out to find some were missing parts, had flat tyres or were broken in other ways so none were safe to ride. Unfortunate,but I guess with the state of the roads bikes break. Staff here were all nice and friendly.
