Upon checking in, our room did not have a bath, even though I specifically booked a room with a bath as my travel companion has a back condition. The Duty Manager said "Oh, it's because you booked through Expedia. That explains it". No apology. And we waited 45 minutes to be called back, only to find out he had been calling the wrong room number. Eventually were moved to a room with a bath. First night was pleasant, although room service is lacking choice seriously. Upon returning to the room the following afternoon my travel companion called me to inform me that ALL her bags had been removed from the room. When speaking with the Duty Manager again, he said that I had removed the bags, which was a lie, as I left the room with my travel companion together. The duty manager then said that he thought we were only booked in for one night. If so, how come our keys still worked for entry. The duty manager brought my companion's bag back to the room, but missing were her phone charger and a bag with two pairs of shoes in it plus medications. These apparently were locked away in the 'Lost & Found' and only the executive house keeper has access to this. And of course, they weren't there on a Saturday evening. Needless to say, my companion felt violated and horrified that someone had packed up her belongings without calling our phone number first, or even emailed. We cut our stay short and checked out. Weekend ruined. My travel companion beyond upset and horrified.
