Less than 10 mins walk from central St Kilda, allocated parking for one car, and tram stops right outside the building, this is a great base to experience St Kilda and Melbourne at its best. Please read the full listing below before booking to ensure you have all the important information to give you the best possible stay. The Space: This one bedroom apartment is located on level 5 looking towards South Yarra and the City skylines with far-ranging views making the living room a great place to relax and watch the clouds float past. In the living room is a double-size sofa bed which also serves as additional seating for the dining table if needed. Bedding is provided for the sofa bed when a booking for 3 or more people is made. The internal bedroom has a window through the living room to let in light during the day and there is a privacy blind when needed in the evening. The bedroom features a large king bed which comes with fitted sheet, flat sheet, four pillows and an all-season doona/quilt. One large, allocated parking space is available for guest use in the secure underground car park. Please note there is a strict height limit of 2.1m for car park access. Right outside the building is the bustling St Kilda Road where you will find tram stops that will take you into the heart of Melbourne. For city-dwellers, the sound from the road will be pretty standard for you but for those living in the country, please be aware you may notice vehicle and tram noise more than usual. On the ground floor of the building, accessed from outside, is Dear Liza, one of the best breakfast and lunch spots in the area open from 8.30am to 2.30pm on weekdays and 9am to 3pm on weekends. You won't have far to go for a relaxed and delicious brunch when staying here! Please note if your stay is to include the nights of Christmas or New Year's Eve a 3 night minimum stay is required. That heritage can still be seen in the European-style cake shops, cafes and designer shops that line the street. With so many cuisines to choose from, you’ll find every taste bud is satisfied with the array of options in this foodie paradise. Many of St Kilda’s eateries are located along Fitzroy St and Acland St, with a mix of moody wine bars, summery outdoor terraces, and fine dining restaurants, all located around Port Phillip Bay Other Things to Note: All the apartments we manage come with a welcome letter and detailed information so you know how everything works to ensure you can get the most out of your stay. All bedding and towels are included for 2-4 people as booked (note one bath towel per person) along with beginner basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, milk, shampoo, bodywash and toilet paper to get you through the first few days. It is a well located rental, though quite noisy being on a very busy road. I would recommend ear plugs. It has excellent access for public transport and the car park available is a bonus.
