The flight of stairs was a struggle. Sharing the bathroom was unpleasant especially at night, people walking past could see your silhouette. The staff we're friendly and offered me the balcony room which was facing the noisy street or a quite back room which was not noise proof so I could clearly hear the family talking and laughing till late.

I loved the old building with lots of character and wide staircase. The staff were always available, friendly and efficient. It is in a convenient position near cafés and restaurants, with the trams nearby for the short journey to the city if needed. Some bedrooms don't have a bathroom, and I found the bathrooms clean but outdated. If new vanities are out of the question, a shelf or two would be very useful.
