Under construction, no warning. Noise all night as room right above dumpster bins being used throughout the night. Lit room all night due to blockout blinds not covering windows properly.

This property is in a great location, close to Chinatown,tram stop, theatres and restaurants. At the moment they are renovating the hotel, so the lifts are all covered etc. They put us in one of their new Deluxe Suits, a large room with a King Size bed, very nice. We have stayed here before and will again as it is in a great place. The staff are always helpful and friendly.

A good choice of mid-price accommodation near CBD
Overall meeting expectation. My room is newly renovated. As renovation is still in progress for the hotel, there is noise very early in the morning but otherwise the renovation work in progress did not bother us. Room size a little small but is acceptable. This is reasonable due to the good location of the hotel.

This is a nice clean hotel in a great location on the edge of Chinatown. It is close to theatres and the CBD. It is clean and the staff are great. Quite quiet before a hotel located in such a busy area n

Didn’t like the fact that we mistakenly got a wake up call on our first morning. Each day someone knocked on the door to see if the room was cleaned and then wondering if we had left yet.

Wonderful family getaway. Harry Potter.
Great location. Cheap and cheerful hotel with clean rooms perfect location. Close to Chinatown and perfect spot for Harry Potter at the Princess Theatre.

Seamless check in, excellent rooms. Was very comfortable. Slightly uncomfortable bed with two matresses pushed together and pillows were too soft for me.

Great area. Renovations made stay difficult.
Area was great. Alas renovations made sleep in impossible. Workers noisy at 7:30am. Perhaps contractors should work for example 10-6 when most clients wouldn’t be there? Crossley staff were helpful.

Great location for our visit to The Princess Theater. Second room floor was quite and the king size bed enabled a good nights sleep. The continental breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Would visit again.

NOISY
The reception staff were great, room clean and very comfortable bed and linen. However, all this was negated by the horrendous noise of the air conditioning - it was like being on the side of the M1 road. The type of noise sounded different at times (still VERY loud) and at one stage I had to knock it slightly to try to stop the sound of a loose piece of paper inside the flue. Coupled with this is that there is only a bath-shower complex but no mat to prevent slipping. As the sole occupant of the room I didn't trust having a safe shower.When the toilet flushed, it took a very noisy long time to refill the tank. Unless the renovations include a new A/C and bathroom I would not stay there again.

Excellent stay
Hello I’ve stayed at the Crossley for years the staff always welcome you back. The staff are extremely helpful friendly very professional excellent. Check in and out is always quick free Wifi great rooms excellent toiletries tea and coffee facilities. Close to cafes restaurants theatres and China town. Excellent location all walkable. Certainly would recommend the Crossley. Thank you.

Excellent hotel in great location.
Hotel is in middle of Reno. Was not aware of this before check in. No issues on check in or for the night but the construction work started at 8am and was loud.

The staff was the highlight of my stay. The hotel is a old and the bins were collected at 3:30am, but the lady manning the desk was just lovely and attentive.

This property was in a great location for the theatre. The room itself was very dated and there was lots of construction within the hotel going on. But the staff were very nice.
