I personally felt this was a good place to stay in! I booked for 12 days and 11 nights at the studio apartment. Upon arrival I was greeted by the lovely lady and was allowed early check in at 11am. The room to me was great. Yes the decor was outdated but it had everything I needed for my stay. The room and toilet was clean and comfortable and the room had all the amenities (pots, pas, stove, toaster, glasses, bowls, cutleries, kettle, dishwashing supplies). There’s even shampoo and soap provided in the bathroom. So you definitely get what you pay for. There’s also a washer and dryer that you can pay to use. The location is by far the best you can expect. The tram is just a short walk from the hotel and there are many restaurants nearby so I didnt need to think about my next meal. The area is also quite busy so I felt safe walking at night. The noise from the street didnt bother me too much during my stay as it was quite faint and only during the weekend since everyone is hanging out at the eateries nearby the hotel. During checkout they helped store my luggage whilst I did my final visit in the city.Overall I had a great experience staying here and made my trip enjoyable and if I’m ever back in the CBD I would definitely stay here again!

It is a place if you're just after a short stay in city, the facilities are a bit old but the room is clean. Air ventilation is not going well but still acceptable. The best thing is the location, just right in the heart of CBD. 2 mins walking to shopping mall, 3 mins to Chinatown. You don't have to worry about shopping and foods. You just need to worry about not enough budget to spend on.

This place was great for the price.We were in the city for a show over at the Athenaeum, it was a short stroll from there as well as Melb Central, Emporium and the laneways. We would stay here again!

Location was good as it was in the middle of the CBD, however, the absence of parking was a major issue. The room was very old, the appliances were old. The room was not cleaned properly, found nail clippings on the floor when we first arrived. The property’s main door was left unlocked at all times, minimising security although signs indicate that doors will be locked after a certain time.

A little gem
A gem of a small hotel. If you don’t want lots of ‘bells and whistles’ with your accomodation but you want clean, comfortable, close to the cbd then this is your hotel. Just off Elizabeth st, public transport close. Lots of laneways restaurants and cafe’s around the corner. Good size room with sufficient amenities. Good wifi. Staff pleasant and helpful. Would certainly stay again.

I absolutely loved the place and the room. The staff were very friendly. The only difficult thing was to find a parking and it was very expensive overnight.

Staff, and the overall hotel was good. Location is great, with nice eateries close by. Loud outside at night, so if you are wanting an early night, it probably won't happen. Overall, a good stay.

All my needs were attended to with the upmost care with a friendly attitude. Not 5 star, but I receive a warm shower and a comfortable bed. I do not need any extras!!! Plus the room was warm as I know how to use the split system that worked all night. Thank you for a comfortable stay.

When i checked in, there was nobody at the reception desk. I waited about 10 to 15 minutes, one guy came in and said he went to order food. During the check-in process, i asked him about possible late checkout at 12pm the next day as a gold member of Expedia, he said "no problem'. However, on the next day morning, the reception rang me before 11am and told me i have to check out before 11am, otherwise they will charge 50 dollars as fine. I explained to them about my gold membership with Expedia and the previous guy at reception said OK for late check out, but the new guy still insisted on his rule. There is no consistent service in this hotel and i will never come back to stay at this hotel in the future. The room and facilities are all very old and cannot be ranked as a hotel. I would not recommend other people to stay there as well.

One step up from back packers accommodation. Cheap, but there is a reason for that. Like walking into a 70s hotel room and I would think that was the last time it was updated. The original lead windows still open leaving me to think is this legally safe. The beds were comfortable but unfortunately that was the only redeeming feature

We tried to contact reception to let them know that there is excessive noise at 4 am. We left the property at 5 am and because of XS noise and unruly guests upon exiting the building we realised reception was mended and was so disappointed that they did not care
