This was fantastic. Attention to detail around what guests need was exceptional. I wish we had more time to enjoy. Loved it, we will be back. # loved our little friend the honey eater who tapped on the windiw in the morning.

Had a lovely spacious area with everything we needed. Lots of little things were done to create a relaxing atmosphere such as bird seeds on the window sill to attract rosellas when we arrived

What’s not to like? Amazing views, very clean interior, fridge had egg&bacon and other breakfast food as well as fresh bread and red wine on the table and opera was on. It’s pretty secluded so very quiet and peaceful. Amazing place to crash at after an intense hike nearby! Will be returning again!

The bed was comfortable, breakfast supplied was plentiful ,was very peaceful , spa was nice ,the rooms were clean & comfortable We felt that the outside areas all around could do with a bit of a face lift , gardens need more love but we are just getting into spring but I think well thought out bulb planting for spring & clean up in the grounds ,the buildings on the outside are looking a bit tired .

Warm and cosy
Beautiful tranquil setting surrounded by forest so much so you barely notice the neighbouring cottages. The loft cottage was immaculately clean with a wonderful and plentiful breakfast assortment left for us to use during our stay. The gas fireplace, heating and spa made for a gorgeous cosy stay. It was evident the hosts took every measure to ensure our stay was welcome and comfortable even before we checked in.

This apartment was extremely noisy as the residents upstairs where walking with their shoes on for most of the time we where in residence . This was supposed to be a quiet weekend.

Everything was absolutely lovely (with the possible exception of a slightly blunt bread knife), warm and welcoming (without being intruded on by fellow travellers or staff). The amenities and atmosphere had a lovely old-world charm, without any ‘old&musty’ to it. Our room was beyond spacious and even gave us a bird’s eye view, through a gap on the leafy tree foliage, of the towers of Melbourne CBD in the far distance. it was well stocked, beautifully appointed and truly peaceful. We loved it!

Cute little cottage nested in the trees.
We booked very late into the mid week school holiday for my partner and I and was loathed to pay the rate. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit, surrounded by mist and fog, but clear enough at times to see the city highlighted at a distance. A very romantic getaway in comfortable semi private surroundings. It smell of ax when pip first walked in, and mind the 4 poster bed if you're anywhere near 6 foot tall...

This is the second time we've stayed at Arnica Views and once again it was just a beyond incredible experience. Expect total peace and quiet and a warm welcome with music and fireplace on arrival. Not to mention excellent breakfast provisions and a number of small extras and additional touches that make this our favourite place to stay for our wedding anniversary. The Manor is absolutely gorgeous - highly recommend. It goes without saying really, but we will be returning again and again.

Quiet getaway in beautiful scenery.
I absolutely loved staying right on top of the Mountain at Arnica Views. Friendly staff, stunning location and very peaceful. My only complaint would be a couple of minor maintenance issues, but really, it’s nitpicking. A genuinely fantastic place for a quiet getaway. Will definitely visit again.

Quiet and Peaceful Couples Retreat
The Barn was the ideal overnight getaway set in the tranquil nature reserve of the owner's property, only a short walk or Limo drive to the Sky restaurant with the amazing city views.

Good Get Away
We ended up staying in the Arnica Sunset room instead. I must say that the naming of these rooms needs to be much clearer. The Arnica Views and Arnica Sunset is actually one building with 2 levels, and what we're paying for is either Top level (Arnica Sunset) or Bottom level (Arnica Views) I stayed in the Arnica Sunset, Top level which is really worth it, you get your own entrance and own huge garden facing the city, the city is in view on a less cloudy day. The spa tub is right next to the bed. The spa tub was suggested to be used at certain times since it can be noisy to the guest on the lower level, we didn't hear any complaints so I guess we're good. Although we should note that the facilities in the room are a bit old such as the bed, the mattress bit worn out, the carpet I would suggest you wear slippers and the toilet/shower. complimentary breakfast was nice, eggs, bacon, various jams, and bread were supplied as well as chocolates and Port Wine! It should be noted that the driveway is narrow and goes both directions and care should be taken when driving up/down the driveway especially at night. Car parking has limited spaces so take note. Oh and free bird seeds were provided which was really nice, you can feed the birds while sitting in your own private garden!

Hi Ron Thanks for your feedback. The carpet is admittedly old fashioned but is a pure wool axminster and regularly cleaned. The bed is an antique four-poster and I was unaware the mattress appeared old. Our carpark has 6 designated spots for each of the 6 retreats and Coorabell has its own driveway. We're very glad you enjoyed the garden, the views, the spa, the breakfast, the port and chocolates and feeding the birds. We hope to see you again and if you stay in The Barn or The Manor next time there will not be a carpet in sight! Regards

Coorabell Retreat
Our two night stay was very relaxing. Breakfast provisions were generous and location was tranquil and private, yet within close proximity to many local restaurants and cafes. Thank you for a great stay.

Quiet relaxing in bush
We chose Arnica Views to celebrate our birthdays as it is within walking distance to the Skyhigh restaurant at Mt Dandenong and after staying here once before loved the quiet bush location. Everything from arrival to departure is completely stress free and the rooms are cosy and inviting.

Romantic getaway
Arriving at dusk to find the room lit with candles was magical, and the other extras of chocs,port and a very well stocked fridge for breakfast was fabulous. Being autumn the trees were in glorious colour and we delighted in finding wild mushrooms, pixie-like bright red toadstools, blackberries and chestnuts very close by. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Family stay Cooinda- preparation for Hills wedding
We booked this house in preparation for our daughter's wedding nearby and it was perfect for our requirements. House is centrally located and very spacious and rooms are great. Everything that you require for a family or group get away can be found here.
