"Stayed here whilst visiting a chateau in the area. Lovely peaceful surroundings, giant chess in the vast gardens and a tree swing. Added bonus for us was the free electric charge points. You had to get a code from reception and they were only slow chargers but that was ideal for us as we plugged in overnight. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Quiet clean room overlooking the gardens. Perfect venue for a bigger gathering too."

"I was tempted to leave a terrible review to put everyone else off but that seemed perhaps a little unfair. This was the most magical, wonderful place to spend time with our children who were utterly entranced with the ponds and loved every moment in the pools. By day #2, one of our 7 year olds was asking if there are schools nearby and could we just live here? Beautiful gardens, fabulous wildlife (learning the French for hedgehog!), late sunsets and a lovely host. Thank you. "

"At first there was a bit of a mixup regarding accommodation but the owner went out of her way to rectify the situation & was more than helpful. Had a very nice meal at a local restaurant Contine. The breakfast which was included was very good with home made preserves etc. Parking on the street wasn't a problem at all. Would recommend staying in this beautiful historic small chateau. "This appears to be a re-badged Campanile hotel which has just had Campanile signs changed to Design Inn. As such it provides good basic, no frills accommodation. The one difference with Campanile is that this hotel does not provide dinner but is very close to a Buffalo Grill which is conveniently located for dinner. There were various places where old Campanile signs had been removed but not well repaired so it gives the impression of not being well cared for. The staff were very helpful and found a secure place to store my bicycle. The breakfast was fine without being exceptional."
