The apartment is very bright, situated on the top floor in a seafront development (three floors), in a quiet bay and looks across the water on to a natural park with remnants of 5 Roman villas and small wild beaches (10 min walk). Please contact us if you wish to check in/out on a day of your choice and we can help. The apartment has high loft ceilings, two bedrooms, a fitted kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, air conditioning, one bathroom with shower and washing machine, an additional second toilet room, a terrace with dining table and commanding view over the bay. A well equipped sandy beach is nearby in the village of Medulin, with children amenities and lots of ice-cream. Local facilities, beaches & food: Once a fishing village, today a modern tourist resort, Medulin offers plenty to do. There is a bank in town that works all year round, as well as ATMs, post office, doctors' offices, pharmacy, a fish-market, supermarkets, shops, galleries, restaurants and bars, some with terraces and live music. There is also plenty of entertainment and fun for the younger generation. In Medulin you can find many restaurants, night bars and entertainment, sports facilities, motor boats for rent, Marina facilities, tennis courts, coffee shops, grocery stores, shops selling local Istrian artisan products like wine, olive oil, truffles, precious cosmetics, lovely essential oils like lavender. Medulin's unique sandy beach Bijeca, one kilometer long, attracts families. There are more secluded coves where you can relax in the shade of century old pine trees. During your stay in this area with a rich fishing tradition discover the delights of homemade dishes - crab salad, black risotto or broetto, fish antipasti, pastas and precious black truffle. Beaches: Sandy beach Bjeka in Medulin. Sandy beach on nearby island of Levan Many wild beaches along the coast, along the peninsula of Kamenjak (Premantura), Monte Kop or around Lishnjan. Outdoor sports: The weather is pleasant all year round, and warm enough to sunbathe on the beach from April until end of October. Bird watching is fantastic. In winter Medulin is ideal for outdoor sports, like walking, playing golf, biking or horse riding. The many small islands of the Medulin archipelago - Ceja, Levan or Bodulaš are beautiful and unspoilt, like much of the coastline. The view was wonderful and we were lucky enough to see kingfishers flying past every day. Its only a 10 min walk to all of the bars and restaurants but feels very peaceful. She was prompt at replying to my initial enquiry and the booking was straight forward. On our arrival we were met by Sandi who was very helpful and friendly. He answered all our questions and gave some good recommendations on restaurants. The apartment was clean, well equippedand well presented with thought gone into providing information about the surrounding area and even into providing beach mats. The view from the balcony was beautiful and we enjoyed eating and drinking wine on the balcony in the evenings. Medulin is easy to walk around and, having hired a car, travelling to Pula, Porec, Rovinj and around Premantura was a breeze. The locals were very friendly and helpful. Parcheggio auto riservato. L'ampia terrazza dove si può mangiare si affaccia sulla baia di Medulin. Ausgestattet ist die Wohnung mit allem was es für einen Urlaubsaufenthalt braucht. Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle, Backofen, Töpfe, Pfannen, Geschirr usw. alles ausreichend vorhanden. Ein Parkplatz gehört auch zur Wohnung. Wer mit Fahrrädern anreist kann diese im Flur im Erdgeschoss deponieren. Ist aber leider nicht viel Platz und es könnte sein, dass alles belegt ist. Zu Fuß ist man in ca. 15min. Minuten an der Hafenpromenade. Gute Lokale gibt es ganz in der Nähe. Für uns ein toller Urlaub in einer tollen Wohnung. Immer wieder gerne :-) ##### Inge L. Wir konnten die Unterkunft gleich beziehen. Auf den ersten Blick alles super. Toll war die separate Gästetoilette. Am nächsten Tag kamen dann die ersten Mängel. Die Kaffeemaschine war total verkalkt. Nach Rücksprache haben wir diese entkalkt. Der Geschirrspüler lief aus, auch diesen hat mein Mann gesäubert und repariert. Die schon ewig bemängelte Schranktür haben wir richtig eingestellt und schon funktionierte diese. Damit konnte der Urlaub los gehen. Einziges Manko was wir zu Bedenken geben möchten ist das Doppelbett. Es knarrt wie verrückt und bei jeder Drehung sind beide Personen wach, da es eine Matratze über das gesamte Bett war. Schlafen ist im Urlaub ein wichtiger Punkt für die Erholung. Ansonsten haben wir unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und kommen gern wieder. ##### Doreen S. Beim letzten Mal gab es ein paar Kleinigkeiten zu bemängeln, was uns jedoch noch abgehalten hat die Wohnung wieder zu buchen! Und was soll ich sagen, dieses Mal waren alle Mängel beseitigt, mehr als das fanden wir ein komplett neues Bad, eine neu geflieste Terrasse und komplett neue Türen inkl. Zarge vor , um nur einige Dinge zu erwähnen! Sogar komplett neue Teflon beschichtete Pfannen waren Vorort, somit stand dem morgendlichen Rührei nicht im Wege! Das Mobiliar ist nicht so gut. Designersofa durchgesessen und unten fällt es auseinander. Bett ist sehr schmal und quietscht bei jedem umdrehen. Kochgeschirr ist teilweise dreckig,Teflonpfanne sehr beschädigt Die regendusche ist nicht richtig montiert gewesen und raus gefallen, nach Reklamation sollte ein Monteur kommen, diesen haben wir in den 2 Wochen nicht gesehen. Eigentlich total Schade wegen der tollen Lage, man könnte mehr draus machen und in der Vorsaison dafür recht teuer, ich hatte mir von der Ausstattung mehr erhofft. ##### Michaela R. Die Lage der Wohnung ist wirklich perfekt. In anderen Bewertungen beschriebenen Lärm haben wir nie bemerkt. Leider ist die Ausstattung der Wohnung nicht korrekt. Es wird ein Boot aufgeführt, welches nicht vorhanden ist. Der ebenfalls aufgeführte Whirlpool sollte sich in einem ca. 4 m entfernten Hotel befinden. Das ist nicht akzeptabel, wenn es als Ausstattung der Wohnung beschrieben wird. Abgesehen davon, ist das Hotel gerade geschlossen. Eine moderne Ferienwohnung haben wir nur bedingt vorgefunden. Ein geflicktes Ledersofa ist dann doch nicht so modern. Gleiches gilt für die Küche. Und wenn die Vermietung angibt, dass Gewürze in der Küche vorhanden sind, dann sollte dies mehr als ein salz- oder Pfefferstreuer sein. Die Schadstelle auf dem Balkon und andere Dinge sind schon beschrieben worden. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermietung endete damit, dass auf unsere Fragen nicht mehr geantwortet wurde. Peinlich! Und , und, und ... Fazit: Wir haben gewohnt und den Ausblick inklusiv Sonnenuntergang genossen. (Das Wasser vor dem Haus ist nicht badefähig!) Bei dem sonnenreichen Wetter während unseres Aufenthaltes waren wir nicht oft auf die Wohnung angewiesen. Für den Preis hatten wir mehr erwartet. ##### Heinz-Dieter U. Mega Ausblick, sehr zentral und doch ruhig. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man braucht, allerdings sollten ein paar Dinge, wie die Toilettenbürsten und Balkonstühle erneut werden. Man sollte sich vor Anreise bei der Agentur melden und seine Ankunft ankündigen, damit die Wohnung präpariert ist. Toilettenpapier und Bettwäsche wurden initial gestellt. Bettwäsche wechseln lassen, ist gegen Bezahlung möglich oder man kann mit der vorhandenen Waschmaschine selber waschen. Wir hatten einen prima Aufenthalt und Urlaub. ##### Dieter V. Es müsste allerdings etwas investiert werden um „Kleinigkeiten“ wieder auf Stand zu bringen damit sich die Werbung „Exclusiv Luxusfewo am Meer“ wiederspiegelt. Es ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt (Küchenausstattung etc.) Ein Spaziergang zum Strand ist auch iO (1,5 km). Die schöne Lage in einer abseits vom Trubel im Hafenviertel von Medulin gelegenen Bucht ist eine der Vorzüge dieser Wohnung. Vor 10 Jahren konnte man vielleicht noch von „exklusivem Luxus“ sprechen, doch mittlerweile zeigt sich doch ein deutlicher Renovierungsstau. So sind die Ledersofas geflickt und verfleckt, die Hälfte des Balkonmobiliars ist zerbrochen und unbrauchbar, Im Bad fehlt der Griff am Badschrank und eine Lampe hängt nur noch am Kabel aus der Fassung. Mehrere weitere Lampen waren defekt. Der WC-Sitz im Gäste-WC sollte auch erneuert werden. Das Schließblech der Türe zum Kinderzimmer war ausgebrochen und notdürftig geflickt. Auch die Sauberkeit war nicht akzeptabel (Spinnweben in allen Ecken und stinkende Spülmaschine; Zahnpasta vom Vormieter klebte noch im Waschbecken im Bad etc.). Insgesamt könnte man aus dieser Wohnung wieder eine tolle Ferienwohnung machen, da Lage und Standort attraktiv sind, aber in derzeitigem Zustand entspricht sie nicht den Erwartungen und vor allem nicht dem geforderten Preis. Wir können die Buchung derzeit nicht empfehlen und würden nicht nochmals kommen. Es gibt in Kroatien sicher deutliche Besseres für diesen Preis. ##### Joerg R. Es ist ruhig gelegen, etwas Abseits vom pulsierendem leben in Medulin. Die Wohnung bietet genug Raum für 4 Personen. Zur Wohnung gehört ein KFZ Stellplatz genau vor dem Haus. The view over the bay is gorgeous and unless you look straight down you don’t see the street with the parked cars in front of the house. The street is a dead end and very quiet. For the nearest beach you have to go to the opposite site of the bay by car or by foot. There are not many people and you can lay in the shade of large pin trees which is very nice. Within walking distance you can find a large number of restaurants. We really liked Salt&Pepper, went there twice. During our stay in July there was a faire with lots of animation at the harbor. We enjoyed ice cream or a good night drink there. The live music from the concerts was loud and went until very late at night 2 times that week. We then used ear plugs and slept well anyway. I would like to mention that the kitchen is sufficiently equipped with kitchen utensils but there is no food whatsoever, not even salt or pepper. So do bring the basics with you or you will have to buy everything in Medulin. We recommend a trip to the Premantura peninsula, take a walk to the peak, it is not far from the last parking and it’s worth it. Pula is beautiful and very interesting.
