Needs upkeeping and non-smoking rooms/area.
Our non-smoking room was in need of repair with peeling paints/molded bathroom. Both queen beds had strong smoking odor. 3 out of 4 times that we came out of the room, we ran into smokers congregating in the parking lot a few feet from our door.

Disorganized and Shabby
The hotel had recently been sold so was in disarray. Furniture in rooms did not match...was old and scratched. The person at the desk not friendly or helpful. A hotel restaurant was closed. But desk person who was not a local, was unable to recommend any place nearby.

The property is a convenient location for traveling through Medford. Staff was very friendly. Also pets permitted.

Great customer service
Nice hotel, great costumer service. One thing that can do better on is cleanness. The table was definitely not cleaned and had some food particles smeared on it. I didn’t make a big deal about it, I always carry sanitizing wipes with me so I cleaned it up myself. I would definitely be coming back to this hotel again.

The Inn at the Commons is a functional motel located in Medford, OR. It is more like a motel than an inn, as the rooms are not connected to the lobby and are entered directly from the parking lot motel-style. The rooms are adequate and clean, and the bed is comfortable. No amenities to speak of. There is a coffee maker in the room. If you need a place to stay in Medford, this is a functional, practical alternative, but it is very basic.

Angry staff! The check in person made me wait for two minutes standing there like an idiot for no reason. She added $50 to my bill without telling me what it was for and then got angry when I didn’t just pay it. “Are you checking in or not sir?“ To which I said “I think I have a right to know what it is I’m being charged for, why did the bill increase $50?” And then she responded “I have the right to add $50 to your bill... for incidentals like towels.“ TOTALLY FINE of course. why did I have to work so hard to get the answer? Sketchy parking lot but otherwise fine
Lobby was really nice but the area where you park was sketchy and felt unsafe. They didn’t ask for our license plate number and highlighted on the reservation that they were not responsible for damage to vehicles or for things stolen from the car! There was someone passed out in their car with the car running in the parking lot. It did not leave us resting easy. The room was clean and comfortable so that was a relief.

Great stay
The tub 😍😍😍 enough said! The room was over 800 square feet and had pool view balcony. We were able to see all the fireworks lit on NYE. Bed was super comfortable too!

Quite run down area with a lot of shady cars and questionable characters loitering about in the lot. I would never trust my vehicle or belongings being safe in this lot. Also, the balcony wreaked of the smell of weed at most times.

Wedding Stay
It was a wonderful stay we stayed their before and this time we were their for 6 days while we were their we were getting ready to go out for the day and i needed something done in my room the front desk said they will get someone over their to do what we needed done and sure enough about 10 minutes later here came the housekeeper we told the front desk we were leaving in about 45 minutes and we were able to leave when we wanted because the housekeeper came and gone in the alloted time they also have bagged breakfasts which was good not as good as their full breakfast but it was good enough and the people at the front desk were phenomenal. I went to check out on the 15th and the lobby was locked up tighter than fort knox but the lady that was their seen me trying to get in so she came over to the front door and opened it up for me so i could check out with her it was just an all around great experience

As expected, not disappointed
Decent rooms, beds were a bit too soft and the shower plunger was difficult to turn off, but otherwise pretty good.

The room itself was cozy and had a balcony overlooking Bear Creek. Although I didn't use them, it had a mini-fridge inside the entertainment center and a coffee maker on the top shelf of the closet.

Definitely recommend this place
The place is very well maintained. I started my review as I drove into parking lot and have to say it was impressive. Nick at the front desk was very friendly and helpful as well. The room was very clean and comfortable easy access no homeless hanging out like I had seen on that street at other hotel locations as I drove to area. All in all great experience I will definitely being staying there again as well as recommend this place tonothers

It was great. Lobby is beautiful, staff bery clean and friendly, the rooms were spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I love seeing the creek off of our balcony. I would definitely stay again.

it was clean, ok location there was a small bit of a stream running at the back. There did seem to be a fair amount of homeless people in the park across the street but no problems at all. Great overall

Great time in Medford
Staff was great, room was cozy, quiet area. All I would ask is for check-in staff to be a little more aware of the stay dates. Our room keys were only programmed for one night and tracking down staff at night wasn’t the easiest. All in all great stay.

Little old fashion feel
The concierge was nice and welcoming. We checked into a non-smoking room, but somehow there was cigarette smoke coming through the vent, so we moved us. Room was decent. We liked the updated interior and bedding. The layout of the hotel is a bit weird though. We didn't expect it to look like the 1980s motel. Overall it was a nice place to stay for one night.
