Nature Lover's Paradise In The Driftless Area Of Southern Wisconsin, USA.
10/10 Excellent
"We very much enjoyed our stay at Hidden Bluff Lodge. The owner lives nearby so was accessible for anything we needed. The property is beautiful and well maintained. There was enough space for the 6 of us to spend time together and have our own space. "
"I was missing there the regular fruits juce dispenser, which is a standard part of regular breakfast in all ather motels or hotels. Therefore I gave it only four stars. Everything else was super. "
"The first room we checked into had food in the freezer and the toilet wasn't working. The second room had a working toilet and was cleaner, but I don't know why I paid $20 more for a "king suite with separate seating area" as it was one room. It looked like the pictures on the website for the "studio king room." The pool was fun, but hadn't been cleaned overnight. There was foam from someone's pool toy all over the pool deck and in the pool. Finally we went to breakfast, and all of the empty tables were dirty. The food bins were empty, and the worker was just playing on her phone. She came out when I asked her if she could refill the trays, but she had to go and start heating the frozen food. We gave up and went out for breakfast. On a positive note, the room was quiet!"
"We asked for towels and trash bags and never received them. I had to go back down the next morning to get them from someone at the front desk. We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights and not 1 time did someone come and clean our room. We were gone everyday of our stay doing things. This is absolutely absurd. People at the front desks are rude or playing on their phones. Housekeeping is always on the floor but would rather be on their phones and balring their music or facebook. This is not how a hotel should be ran. First and only time ever will i stay at this place or any others."
"Booked a double queen but they were not Queen beds, they were full size.
Lamp shade needed dusting, pool corners were gray. Quiet time not inforced and kind allowed to run through the halls. Parents were drinking in the pool while other kids were swimming and not advised to leave the pool area. "
