Very Nice! Breakfast AND Dinner included!!

Posted 19-Sep-2016
Pros: Complimentary hot breakfast AND dinner!! As well as fountain drinks and coffee all day!
Cons: Adding fresh fruit to breakfast.
Location: The location was very convenient! We were there for the BOA competition and traveled from Austin, TX. Perfect location to get where we needed to go!
We arrived VERY late, or early, at 2:00AM. There was a bit of a hold up with getting our room, but nothing too terrible. Parking was problematic, as they are renovating but the gentleman at the front desk accommodated our parking so we didn't have to park far away in the dark! The one disappointment was a closed pool for the weekend. I was very much looking forward to lounging by the pool, and was unable to do so. It would have been nice if we'd been told we could use the pool at the Drury Suites down the street, but maybe they aren't sister properties? No idea, but it did put a damper on the weekend. Hot breakfast AND dinner was great!! I might suggest fresh fruit be added to both, but that is not a complaint! Loved the free fountain drinks available all day! Drury Inn is definitely worth the price and is very nice! Beds, room and bathroom were GREAT!! Staff was very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend this place!!

Muy augusto. Limpio en general. Los empleados muy amables. Los alimentos de buena calidad. Si un poco caro pero quede satisfecha con el servicio.

Great stay! Wish there were more Drurys around!

Very nice and clean hotel, with superlative staff attention and service throughout my stay. Traveling on business, my stay was extended for an extra night and I did not hesitate to extend my stay at the McAllen, TX Drury Inn (I easily could have gone to another hotel). This was my first time at a Drury and I have to say that I thought it was perfect for business travel, esp. given the wonderful breakfast and the 5:30 Kickoff (basically, a free, though limited, early evening dinner buffet). Perfect for someone who is traveling alone and doesn't want to go to a restaurant and eat alone while on business. The staff and other visitors gathered for the 5:30 Kickoff and it was a fun and sociable occasion! I'll be looking for Drury Hotels in the future when I travel.

Bed was due to be replaced in my mind. Neither of us slept well. Otherwise, very nice.

Best Hotel Staff

Posted 22-May-2016 on Hotels
The best kept secret in McAllen. I always bring my own pillow when I travel. One time I forgot my pillow at the hotel. I didn't return for 3 months. When I checked back in, I asked about my pillow expecting that it was disposed of after being gone for so long. But they had it. Good hotel, but the best staff ever!
