Dirty smelly carpets, the keys need to be reset everyday, the room was hot. I left the AC on so that it would be cool when I got back and they turned it off. Came into a musty, hot & humid room. Would not stay here again.

I have stayed in many hotels throughout Texas. The one thing that i find outrageous is the Incidental fee. It is $100 a night for this. Every other hotel, mind you newer than Comfort inn/Mainstay, is only $20-$40 a night i have paid over the last 5 years. Most people forget to budget this even though goes back aftwr X amount of business days, but that is a way to high of a charge for incidental fees. They need to do better.

The staff was excellent. Small inconveniences include: no stopper for the big garden tub and a scorched iron that was easily replaced. Big inconvenience was filthy carpet in the room and a questionably sanitary sofa. (room 218) When we arrived and took off our shoes, our formerly clean feet turned brown and dirty after walking barefoot in the room. We switched to wearing our shoes or socks for the rest of the stay. It really was pretty dirty. The breakfast wasn't as good as it has been in the past. There were no meat offerings at 0700 on Saturday Sept 9, 2003 and the oatmeal as watery as water. Also, we overheard a conversation between another guest and the desk clerk. When they entered the room they were assigned to, another family was already in there and were sleeping. Everyone was surprised and frightened. We plan to stay elsewhere the next time we are in Edinburg.

It's an older property. Room had a musty smell and restroom as well. Carpet are very stained and just looks dirty. Breakfast lady was great, breakfast was ok. Pool water looked very dirty. Only stayed for one night and decided to switch hotels.

The stay with nice n comfortable. Lots of dining around. They had a $15 pet policy online and we were charged $25 per evening. I thought management had adjusted but bank showing $20, waiting on adjustment. Also, sink was draining water but good thing we got transferred to another room promptly. Shopping and dining is close by. Easy parking and quiet property.
