"This is not a home at all, it’s an abandoned hostel in the ghetto. Do not rent here unless you can’t afford a tent to sleep in Half the units are outside and half are in. Dirty, rundown, infested, warehouse hostel that should be condemned. Rented for 4 days and My entire party of 8 left after a few hours. Make this Owner provide pictures of this place before you book. "Pros: Alles was mooi onderhouden met alle nodige luxe verder een heel vriendelijke host die ons voorzag van dagelijks vers fruit uit eigen tuin met een grote glimlach. Mooi zwembad en een mooie tuin die uitkijkt op de Etna. Keuken was in een pool huisje aan het zwembad dat losstaat van de andere verblijfsruimte …. Heel leuk. Alweer een gelukkig Belgisch koppel!!!! Cons: Spoorweg loopt langs het domein, maar gaf geen geluidsoverlast."

"The location is perfect to explore Taormina with shops, restaurants and tourist attractions within a few minutes walk. The hotel itself is unique built into the cliff and the views are breathtaking. The pool is clean is spacious and always had sun loungers available. Our room was fairly basic but it was extremely clean! The front desk could be a little bit more friendly, but overall the staff across the hotel were fine. Be aware that the hotel does not offer an iron or ironing board, which was pretty inconvenient. Overall, I’d highly recommend this hotel due to its location in Taormina. "

"I thoroughly enjoyed my all inclusive two week stay. The food was excellent, the pools were never crowded and the beach was beautiful. The concierge was very helpful with organising trips. It was very helpful that the hotel organised a shuttle service to Taormina too. My only criticism was that it might have been helpful if the restaurant staff staggered putting out the antipasti dishes because if you didn’t arrive at the beginning of dinner the choice became limited because many of the plates were finished, but this is only a minor criticism. "

"Fantastic place. A real treat to have a pool in the middle of upper Taormina overlooking the bay. Very close to the upper cable car station that transports you to the bottom of the mountain to lower Taormina. Everyone at the hotel is very friendly. The hotel is very chic, decorated w beautiful antiques. Our bedroom was very comfortable with a little sitting balcony with sea view. The pool has a little restau- bar for snacks, cocktails and a light lunch. Breakfast is plentiful. The main restaurant offers dinner outside on a patio with great views. A total gem. Charming experience. If you have a car make sure to reserve your spot as they are limited. "

"Hotel Villa Belvedere is an absolute gem, oozing with charm and elegance. The hotel is located only a short walk to all the main restaurant ,shopping and other attractions. The meticulously maintained hotel offers a luxurious retreat, with pristine linens, flawless service, and immaculately kept grounds. On arrival we were greeted by with a glass of wine and shown a map of the area and excursion options. We were then show to our stunning room. Room 25, with its own private balcony with jaw dropping views. The delightful breakfast is a buffet style with many delicious pastries along with the traditional scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals, the terrace or inside offering panoramic views of the bay. The hotel offers old-world elegance, modern comforts, breath taking views, wonderful service, friendly and attentive staff, immaculately clean rooms. I will be recommending The Hotel Villa Belvedere to all my family and friends. I only wish we could have stayed longer. "
