Leisure facilities leave a lot to be desired they need a major upgrade.. Food only ok. Rooms very basic.

ajoining rooms keep no secrets
Room had adjoining room separated by door that was not sound proof at all. It also let in light from the other guests room. So I could tell when the other guest used the bathroom or showered and when the other guest arrived in at 2am my room was lit up from under the door

Mini Break in Ballina
It was a mini break for 2 nights down the West, hotel is convenient to Ballina, Enniscrone and Foxford. Plenty of parking and staff very friemdly, well run operation breakfast buffet style but food quality is very good. Ate in bar both nights nice atmosphere and again good service and enjoyed our dining experience. Room was spacious overlooking the front garden, lots of shrubbery, very clean, good sleep quality no noise spacious bathroom didnt use the leisure centre which is in separate building. Exterior of building a bit drab could do with an uplift and colour.

A really lovely family hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Quietly situated by the river but still convenient for all the shops, bars and restaurants.

Hotel good but leisure complex needs attention
Generally a good stay in a pleasant hotel . Had booked a double room but arrived to find our room had a single bed and a very small double ( made up with just one set of pillows so obviously meant as a second single) lady on reception very helpful but as hotel was full we couldn’t change until the next night and had to leave luggage in reception in the morning and couldn’t use next room until 3pm. Second room was beautiful - just a shame we couldn’t use it during a very wet day outside. Changing rooms in spa very dated and shabby with no locks in locker doors. Toilet doors in make changing rooms didn’t close properly. Leisure complex felt much less well kept than hotel.

Nice enough
Hotel nice enough, clean and staff friendly. Pipes banging all night, every few mins was enough to drive you up the wall. No lights working in room when we woke up on the Sunday.

The Staff were excellent and friendly nothing too much bother. Our room was in the side elevation with nice views and plenty space . It was very clean and in good order, but I heard a couple complaining about their room in the older part of the hotel, our experience is we lived it and will return . Some people just complain for the sake of it and of what I heard it seemed to be that type of complaint

The hotel must have been quite lovely in its day but now it looks sad and in need of sprucing up. My interactions with staff were limited to those in the reception area. They were friendly and welcoming.

Gorgeous hotel
Lovely hotel with great character. Very helpful staff. Great lighting in bedroom. Very comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Beautiful setting with little waterfalls on nearby river visible from inside and outside hotel.

Great personal service with a smile
Really enjoyed it. I was late arriving and the Receptionist rang to make sure I was ok and in transit. Once I arrived all the staff I met were really friendly & helpful. I would strongly recommend the Irish Breakfast, a great way to start the day. I will be back :)

Very enjoyable stay
Just had a wonderful four night stay at the Twin Trees hotel. Great location, short walk to Ballina town with access to a good selection of shops, cafes etc. Fantastic park and playground within a very short walk from the hotel. The staff and the owner were so friendly and helpful, food was fantastic! Very family friendly. Overall the hotel was clean but could do with a good deep clean and a good old dusting. Carpet in our room certainly was well used and the hotel generally could do with some updating. The leisure centre was great with two pools and a jacuzzi. Again needs refurbing and a good cleaning. Overall however we had a great stay and really enjoyed it.

A lovely stay. All staff were very attentive quick and polite. The breakfast was beautiful. In the current situation thr bread could be put in 1 _2 slices in bags. The carpet maybe in time changed but overall loved it. Great atmosphere on the evenings. Grdat

Stayed here last year in between the lockdowns, and again last week for 1 night. Hoping to come back to it, peace away from the busy life, with everything you want right beside you. Lovely swimming pool 1 minute walking away. Beautiful rivers surround the place, the best part.
