"Classy & Elegant Hotel- Great location"
Elegant hotel in an elegant neighborhood. Close to good shopping. Very good Italian restaurant 2 blocks away- Il Calico. The staff learned my name at check-in and I was always addressed by name throughout the stay. Turndown service helpful especially since we used the pull-out bed each night. Staff opened and made the bed each evening & closed the bed each day. The heated towel rack (It's London folks), robes/slippers and nightly chocolate were all nice touches.

"London England with kids"
Great Hotel. Perfect location for tour bus, underground, shopping, food, hyde park. Staff very pleasant, concierge very helpful for tour booking and details. Surprised to find out that some food was included! Unlimited drinks, basic meals and snacks. Kids swam in pool at night. Very clean hotel. KING SIZE bed (hard to find in England).

"Excellence Location"
Excellence location, one of the best to explore London. Centrally located, close to tube station and buses. The room and furnishing looks fairly up to date, but the elevator needs to be replaced, old and slow, and the display often shows wrong floor no. Only one out of two elevators service the lower ground, a hassle to reach the executive lounge on lower ground. Stayed there for 6 night, and breakfast menu is never changed. For this price, should serve better quality breakfast.

"This is my regular hotel when in London"
Did not like the room number 152 because the windows were facing a wall close to the window and when we checked in the person at the front desk indicated that this is an upgrade. The room might be bigger but the setting was poor.

Pocket Guide: London Mayfair Marriott Hotels

Famous for its hotels, Mayfair holds London's most expensive homes and, on Bond Street, its most expensive shops. But the tucked-away pubs, restaurants, and shops of atmospheric Shepherd Market offer affordable local colour, too. Sandwiched between several main roads, Marylebone has a village atmosphere and a charming High Street. Nearby attractions include Madame Tussaud's and the Georgian splendours of Regent's Park, including London Zoo.
