Nice half board options with 5 restaurants, food is good standards without being mind-blowing. The sea was not very clear unfortunately and not as Mauritius Standards expected. Hotel is nice and overall 5* but not luxury. Has been refurbished so looks good. Good service. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary water ski and various water activities. Overall good holidays and good price/quality match.

Very well built hotel, good aesthetics from the rooms to the hotels Good variety of restaurants to dine from Staff was friendly and made sure we were taken care of Shout out to Rishi and Durgesh at the various restaurants Tisha and Yashesh at the Lux Cafe made us good cuppas Housekeeping was there twice a day, made sure you always came to a clean room. The spa is really good as well, masseuses who know what they’re doing. Only negative I would say that it’s far away, if you want to go to visit Port Louis it’ll take atleast 45 mins to an hour.

This is a tough one. I really wanted to like it and had booked this as the highlight of my trip in Mauritius. Expectations fell short. Hotel is a bit dated. Rooms are not cleaned properly (the floor beneeth my bed was covered in dust). Internet did not work for the entire stay. Imagine staying at a so-called 5* hotel without internet. Many people were understandably furious as they were here working remotely. The hotel made no attempt to apologize or offer any solution let alone something to make up for this major issue. You can tell that there is a high lack of coordination between staff. Everyone is confused as to which restaurants are open and when, check in and check out. They do try to offer a lot of amenities and restaurants but frankly I had no interest in trying “Italian” “Turkish” or “Peruvian” food in Mauritius. I was here to eat something local or from the region - not something I could eat in Peru, Turkey or Italy. Overall I found this to be overpriced for what it was and not really worthy of being on a 5* category. Wouldnt stay here again.

Wow. This was a magical place. The setting is fantastic, the staff and facilities and restaurants were all top notch. Everything was done to make our trip memorable and nothing was too much trouble for the brilliant teams. Highly recommended.

Amazing hotel with brilliantly friendly and attentive staff throughout, everyone remembered our names and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. There's a huge variety of activities planned throughout the day for all ages, the stargazing on the beach was a particular highlight for us! We can't wait to come back in future, and will always look out for a LUX resort wherever we travel to!

My wife and I had a fantastic time at this beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were checked in by the lovely Sanjana and were really well looked after. Every single interaction was a pleasant one. We're both vegan and were met by Chef Ramen on arrival who reassured us that we would be well catered for and took specific note of the things we could and couldn't eat and throughout our stay, his team (Veer, Kooshal and Fazeeze) went out of their way to ensure we were looked after. The service from Akshaye and Diren was also exceptional. The gym, tennis courts and pools were clean and well managed there were various happenings around the resort to keep yourself occupied. The staff at the coffee hub - Nuha, Shavesh and Sylvano even made us bespoke protein shakes every day - super friendly. Its a well run and friendly resort. The staff seem happy and are well drilled on service so theres a good atmosphere and we didn't meet any unhappy guests. Thanks for a great holiday Lux Grand Gaube.

Lux Grand Gaube is just wow!!! From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we were in awe. We arrived in the evening and were met by a porter Yaveesh who is OUTSTANDING!!!! He was ultra attentive throughout our stay and was willing to help with anything. The staff were all brilliant though. The restaurants were world class. The views and cleanliness at this place is second to none! Our favourite was Palm Court but BB’s burgers were awesome for lunch. Activities were awesome and just so much to do. Thank you so much Lux Grand Gaube and thank you to all the staff (especially star man YAVEESH)

A little piece of paradise!
This place is amazing! Very peaceful and serene. The staff were Very pleasant and accommodating. The only thing I would suggest is that they get more activities for adults. There were a lot of activities and fun things for children. I’m already planning my trip back in 2025!

We had a great time at Lux GG. Staff are super nice and welcoming! Lux offered us one special honeymoon dinner with four courses and special breakfast with sparkling wine. We tried different water sports and diving there. The wellness suite locates in the adult only area, very quiet and easy to walk to restaurants and beach.

The Lux Grand Gaube hotel is outstanding. Our junior suite was beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. The choice for food unparalleled- Peruvian (Inti), Turkish (Bodrum Blue), Creole Smoke House, Beach Rouge, Palm Court, Cafe Lux, ICI ice creams. The food was amazing and the variety delicious. The service world class and the staff so professional and well trained. Adult pool so relaxing. A beautiful looking property. Large grounds so you do not feel closed in. Great surroundings and great swimming. I came to Mauritius to relax and be spoilt. Lux Grand Gaube exceeded my expectations.
