Smooth sailing start to finish, plenty of amenities right on site and close enough to all others. Close to everything we did, golf, whale watching, beaches, etc. Plenty of parking. Our room had a little book to share your experiences with the owners of the condo. It was fun to read and share with ...
Staff and service was great. Good to have breakfast included since Hawaii is an expensive vacation to begin with. No complaints here. Would stay here again.
Hard to beat the views and location is great. Staff training is much needed - not quick to respond and unfriendly. Housekeeping needs some training also. Rooms were tidy but NOT clean. Beach towels are sad and small, you cannot rent chairs or snorkelling gear so go across the street to snorkel ...
Affordable, quiet location - not like a big busy resort. Walking distance to great beaches, snorkeling, and the Kapalua walking trail. Close to a good grocery store as well. On the property, it is nice to have fresh beach towels whenever you want. Rental onsite for boards, beach chairs, anything ...
When we booked the room it was described as an Ocean view room and when we arrived it was a Partial ocean view overlooking the pool and garden. We would not have booked the room had we known. Very disappointed that Expedia would not disclose the unit number when we were booking, as we would have ...
This condo was good in that it was in a good location close to beaches, shopping, dining. It is spacious & light with a golf course & partial ocean view. It is very dated and worn. The kitchen is poorly equipped. Very nice housekeepers come in 2x per week.
Great place to stay and good location. Close to the beach and restaurants.
Very happy with our decision to stay here! Pros: - Large suites, very comfortable - Comfortable beds - Provided pack and play and high chair - Well-stocked kitchen; cooking in helps mitigate the high food prices in Maui - Free laundry on each floor - Amazing location - right on the beach (a bit rough ...
We had a wonderful time. Room was beautiful and the people were great. We booked a lot of activities with the hotel and they delivered. They made sure we had a great time.
Apartment hotels offer self-catering accommodation in some of the best spots on Maui Island. Mostly three- and four-star hotels, the apartments have kitchen facilities and more space than a standard hotel room. You can look forward to all the modern conveniences you need for a comfortable night’s stay, from free WiFi and TVs to private lanais.
Some apartment hotels provide a continental breakfast to help set you up for the day. And after a day hiking around Maui Island, you can unwind in your apart-hotel spa facilities. Finish off your day at one of your apart-hotels barbecue grills either cooking up fish you’ve caught on a game-fishing trip from Lahaina Harbor or something you picked up at Maui’s Fresh Produce Farmer’s Market in Queen Kaahumanu Shopping Center.
Choose an apartment hotel around Kihei to be within easy reach of the many pleasure-boat trips leaving Maalaea Harbor. Staying here also places the sugar-white beaches and manicured golf courses of Wailea just a short drive away.
Lahaina in West Maui is popular with surfers, snorkelers and swimmers. Once a busy whaling port, the small town of Lahaina is now also the place to go for whale-watching tours and pottering around historic streets.
Head further up the coast to Kapalua to tee off at the award-winning Plantation Golf Course, which hosts the annual Hyundai Tournament of Champions.
The best way to explore Maui Island is by hiring a car. Take the drive down the Road to Hana Highway to see some of Maui’s most secluded waterfalls and picturesque seascapes. This popular road trip leads to the small town of Hana, an undeveloped area and the best place to experience traditional island life.
Maui Island’s Best Hikes
For a challenging hike, head to the Haleakala National Park and follow the trail that leads up to the top of Haleakala volcano. But if you’d like something more sedate, there are plenty of hikes that snake through the park’s lush rainforest.
A stay in one of Maui Island’s apart-hotels gives you the freedom to explore island life, giving you the best of both hotel and self-catering worlds.
