"On it's own away from the outside area, this is an excellent property. The beach can be accessed by others but that is not an issue and the beach traders are not intrusive. Shopping, dining, leasure and activities all catered for on site but trips out can also be organised from within the complex. But the the thing that makes this place are the staff, from the gardening team to head chef, each and every one was courteous, helpful and happy. Well done staff you make this place."

"The staff at La Perla were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The room was very clean but basic and more African style rather than modern which for me was the attraction. The pool area is extremely clean and there’s plenty of sun beds both around it and on the beach. Food is the restaurant is very decent and doesn’t cost the earth. The view of the beach from the restaurant is amazing. The resort doesn’t sell alcohol but the restaurant next door does if that’s important to you."

"Great place but we were there in early June and there was a lot of construction going on everywhere and we might have been the only people in The place. Breakfast definitely leaves something to be desired, it's a good attempt at American or English breakfast but basically it's bread and you can get eggs any way you want. Do you want pancakes you can have honey or chocolate syrup but they don't know what's maple syrup. The food was okay but not exciting and we didn't get out of the hotel much....

"Property grounds were nice. Rooms are a bit dated. The TV and telephone in our room did not work. Manager at reception was very accommodating and made our stay much better. The other downside is the beach, the beach is beautiful but you have to pay 25$ for 2 chairs and umbrella every day if you want to be on the beach. Otherwise they do have beach chairs on man made beach near infinity pool. Just depends on...
