There was me and another couple. I have a prosthetic leg. The couple are in their 80's and the gentleman has one arm. One room was upstairs and there is no elevator. We asked the front desk if we could get the second room downstairs since we could not carry the luggage upstairs. He said there were no available rooms downstairs. He helped carry the luggage upstairs. Later that night there was another person at the desk. I asked if they were full. She said no, business was very slow. We did not appreciate being lied to by the first person at the front desk. We only saw 4 or 5 other people staying there. Also, breakfast was very sparse.

Can’t recommend this hotel; furniture is just too old and worn. No elevator. Bed is just ok, bath clean. Sparse breakfast, few choices.

Dad's weekend
I was staying there during Dad's weekend at my daughter's sorority. My only misgivings about the hotel was how thin that the walls are. You can hear people conversing in the adjacent rooms on either side of your own.

A joke of a place
The so called manager had no idea about service animals and was extremely rude. The breakfast was a JOKE at best!! Frozen waffles, frozen sausage biscuits both sitting at room temperature nothing keeping the cool at all. Nothing offered to drink except coffee.

It smelled terrible the room we booked smelled like cigarette smoke even though we asked for non smoking room breakfasts was not the greatest earlier this is a hotel I won’t recommend staying at, cause I’m not staying here ever again

The toilet was loose. Kept moving when used. The standard door lock was NOT screwed in properly (Only half way screwed in).

Very nice and accommodating host. We checked in late (after midnight) and was greeted with a smile. Host extended our check out time allowing grandkids to sleep in. We will be returning to the Martinsville Super 8 the next time we’re in the area!

The breakfast was poor quality cereal bread and frozen waffles. Our air conditioner didn’t work, bath stool won’t flush properly, hot tub didn’t work and was noisily. Will never go back again!!!! Swimming pool closed

It was located next to HWY 69 and the location off a shopping center was great for me. Also extremely quiet and very clean.

Absolute last resort. Staff is very unprofessional (mom, dad and son), rooms were dirty, carpet was grimy, the toilet didn’t flush, breakfast was crap. Owners have given up on this place.
