"The heat was set to 85 degrees when we walked in- unbearably hot we had to prop the door open. The people hanging around the area/ other rooms made us a bit uncomfortable. But the check in staff was very nice and the room was clean and perfect for our little one nighter. Great location near restaurants!"
"The room was comfortable and the bed was excellent. Bathroom had a lack of counter space. There was a good bit of noise from people walking upstairs."
"We encountered a dirty room with bugs. We asked to check out early and the staff refused to reimburse us. Yes, I booked with Expedia, but only the hotel charged my card for a four night stay. They care about money, not the health or happiness of their guests. Recommend you avoid this hotel. We ate the full 4-day cost and stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn, Devens, which was fantastic."
"Lobby, such as it is, tiny & functional. Front Desk personnel polite and tried to be helpful, barely spoke English, so challenges in communication. Did not see any "amenities". Carpets in hallways & stairway FILTHY and stained. Room itself was clean, basic, adequate for a one night stay. Quiet and dark at night, comfortable bed. All in all, one and done, will not stay here again."
"Breakfast was very good ..
Only thing I didn't like was children allowed in hot tub and when mentioned to desk it still happened and pool was ice cold"
"The hotel bar, called "Nectar", Is an unpretentious and comfortable place to have a conversation and a drink in the evening. Its kitchen has a limited menu of well prepared entrees, sandwiches, and salads."
"So I needed to change my reservation, but I only gave 20 hours (vice 24 hours) notice--so they charged me for days I wasn't at the location (i.e, a Friday and Saturday night at the beginning of my stay). So I was forced to pay for two nights, that I wasn't in the hotel. Not happy about that, but it is what it is, So before I even arrived on Sunday, they charged the full amount??? I've traveled all over the world, never have I paid in advance, or better yet the full amount before I ever arrived. Gets worse, they then in two separate transactions charged an additional $600 (over the total paid). When I talked to the manager--who was extremely aggressive--told her all these charges needed to be fixed. She asked that I e-mail her all the charges...and I did. When I met the manager, I thought I was in a horror film...the unkempt appearance and scraggly hair wasn't the issue--she had extreme black lines (maybe like 1/8 thick) under both eyes. And the continued aggressive tone--she told me that is basically my fault that I was overcharged because I made the night clerk nervous the night I checked in....and yes, I did question him about being charged for room before I even arrived."
"The room is nice. Size bathroom is clean. I did have problem with lotion dispenser, not working or not being filled. The property may need to increase spots for handicap people."
