Terrible hogel

Awful hotel surrounded by building sites. There was no sercice. Hadto ask for clean towels on the 5th day. We did not get clean sheets all the time we stayed . Cooking facilities were very limited..There was one very expensive shop in the middle of nowhere. Had To hire a car.

Internet does not work, mattresses on beds (we had two rooms) were flat in the middle. I guess you get what you pay for.

Not a bad little prison

It was like being in prison. My 12 year old burst into tears when he walked into the room and it was too late to go elsewhere. We've stayed in this chain before in Reims and that was fab, why is Marseille so inferior?

After an hour waiting for the shuttle and 5 phone calls to the hotel to try and organise it I had to pay for my own taxi here. The hotel then had no reception and had a safe containing keys where I need a code to enter. I didn't have the code, so I tried calling but they spoke no english on the support line. Waited another 30 minutes till a french speaking hotel guest helped by calling. The room doesn't come close to the pictures. It's very very basic. It was clean enough, but plain and the bed was not comfortable. The fridge in the room was really loud so hard to sleep and the windows whistled as they didn't close well. In my room there was no wifi and there isn't a lobby to sit in so I couldn't work. No food in the hotel, so had to walk to a neighborhood. All up, don't be tricked by the nice photos. My idea of sleeping in as i'm closed to the airport left me really disappointed. (my first negative review too)

Adequate budget hotel with free shuttle service to the airport and to the Vitrolles train station. Very limited restaurant options in the area.

Close to aeroport, making it nice for a night or two after/before a flight. Had a refrigerator, microwave & hob; which is a big plus. Also decent amenities, such as a fitness room. I didn't have high expectations, so I was not disappointed. I would stay there again.
