Driving up a long driveway to a dreamlike entrance, we felt we were the lord of the manor. Very low key, we handled our own luggage, which was fine. Our room was old world luxury, grand marble bathroom with wonderful towels and robes. Our king bed was quite comfortable. Huge room and huge bathroom
We had dinner out on the terrace, facing modern sculptures on the lawns. Our dinner was Michelin worthy. Breakfast (buffet) was held , also under the trees on another terrace.
We elected to have our other lunches and dinners at nearby Cassis and st Sur se mer.
Pros: Beautiful. Friendly staff
Cons: Wifi (free) was spotty in rooms due to thick, thick stone walls, but fine in lobby and its side rooms.
Location: 25-30 minutes to the beach and port towns, with ample parking.
