Stay during Rugby World Cup
Amazing location and development with surprise feature of spring from old city walls within the building. Air was cool , the room and beds were great and quiet. The pool was a nice and towels provided even though never thought we would use this in October....

We’ve just returned from our second stay at the NHow Marseille hotel. The hotel is beyond quirky and has breathtaking views out to the sea. We love it as a adult break to unwind and relax.

This was the nicest getaway for a few days during our vacation in France. I was more at peace on this property than I think I’ve ever been in my entire life. The location is gorgeous and the property is funky and cool. Every amenity is available in your room. Most notable pleasures—the rain shower, the most relaxing tub, the automatic lighting, and generous amount of storage space and number of electrical outlets. The room was the most spacious we have seen in France and it seems to have been designed by someone who knows just exactly what travelers need. We will certainly be back!

Merveilleux Moment
J'ai visité la France pendant un mois et j'ai séjourné dans divers endroits, mais nhow Marseille était de loin le meilleur endroit ! Je voulais être près de l'eau et ils m'ont offert ce luxe, ainsi que leur incroyable service hôtelier et leur atmosphère ! Excellent séjour ! En tant qu'anglophone visitant le pays, j'ai fait de mon mieux pour être respectueux et parler français quand je le pouvais ou utiliser mon application de traduction et la plupart du personnel était très gentil et patient avec moi. Certains ont été généreux pour essayer de parler anglais quand ils le pouvaient. Je me suis toujours senti bien accueilli par le personnel de la réception et le personnel d'entretien et le personnel du restaurant et du bar. J'ai hâte de visiter à nouveau. I visited France for a month and stayed in various places but nhow Marseille was definitely the best place by far! I wanted to be close to the water and they gave me that luxury, plus their incredible hotel service and atmosphere! Excellent stay! As an English speaker visiting the country, I tried my best to be respectful and speak French when I could or use my translator app and most of the staff was very kind and patient with me. Some were generous to try to speak English when they could. I always felt welcomed by the front desk staff and housekeeping and the restaurant and bar staff. I look forward to visiting again.

The view from the pool was amazing. The manager, Lilly, was very accommodating. We had a minor issue with the room but she was on top of it and made our stay enjoyable. All of the staff were very professional. Swimming in the bay was very warm and water was amazing.

Rooms are dirty. They first put me in a room where there was a dirty napkin in between the sofa. Staff wasn’t nice to tourists. They were acting like they are the mask police. Other parties did not have a mask on and once we didn’t put ours on they would come and tell us to put on, even chase after us. Only plus was the pool salty water and the pizza truck. Rest sucked. Do not recommend it to tourists

Cadre magnifique et chambre propre moderne. Dommage que le personnel ne soit pas toujours à la hauteur. Excellente expérience en chambre et à la réception. En revanche au bar nous nous nous sommes pas senti très À l’aise. Le personnel était un peu méprisant.

A very bad surprise for a hotel of this standard: no vegetarian menu available for room service...even if you just ask for a tomatoes salad, they won't do it (unless you do as i did a speak to 3 managers ... before one of them decide that it is indeed Discrimination...)..

No internet during our entire stay, impossible to work. On top of that very hard to obtain a discount for this major issue for us. We were 5 people booking in this hotel for a business trip and some of us paid more than 40€ by connecting our laptop to our phone to access internet... They were unable to fix the issue for more than 20 hours... Poor service.

Have to stay here!
This hotel is amazing. It's fun and different from any other hotel I've ever stayed at. They have thought of everything and every day I noticed a little something more that they offer.

Checking in was a very slow process. There weren't a lot of people in front of us, but it seemed to take the staff, behind the counter, a long time with each guest. Our room was very nice and the balcony was private, like most of them. We took advantage of the spa and had the 90 minute massage - it was ok. We really liked the pool itself, the staff not so much. Not once in the number of times we were there did someone come around to offer us a drink, we had to go to the pool bar each time. The food at the hotel was very good. I would suggest including the breakfast buffet in with your room - the selection is enormous! The staff at both breakfast and dinner were excellent. My only complaint is that at dinner we were seated next to a toddler who cried and carried on the whole time. If this were Denny's i'd understand, but for a regular dinner costing $200 I don't think so. My overall impression is that the hotel/spa itself was very pleasing, the staff is not.

Unmatched location , right by the sea , a little off center ( may be 1 mile from the port/downtown) Beautiful hotel , we only stayed one night . Nice service . All rooms gives on the sea ! Our room was a little small ; beautiful swimming pool ( but avoid the cocktail there at least the pins colada!) I would come back there

Gorgeous, funky hotel on the sea
Gorgeous hotel in an amazing location, right on the water but a quick walk to shops. Every room seems to have a water view, the rooms are funky but also clean and well appointed. A lot of thought has obviously gone into the interior design. Breakfast was nice, the cocktails were good, the only place they could improve is the staff in the lower bar seem to actively avoid serving.

Chosen for location , views and facilities. Delighted until second night when having s drink on terrace and 2 rats were seen running around the terrace . Quite a bit of maintenance ongoing at hotel and noise as well . Reported the rats but nothing was done . Didn’t eat there the next night and went to the inside bar .

Okay but better and cheaper easier to find
Even though the hotel is not in the centre of Marseille it has a bus stop outside with a very frequent bus that takes 10-15 mins to get into the centre. The hotel has just be refurbished and has a few teething issues which they are working through. Two things which were of deep concern: 1. On arrival for a nearly two week stay we had to give a credit card for a down payment deposit for our stay- absolutely nothing unusual there as all hotels do it- however the amount was shocking! To compare with another hotel I stayed in in Marseille for the same amount of time it was 4 times the amount here!! I had to let them take nearly 2000 euros (yes that is not a mistake- two thousand!!) The other hotel was 500 euros- so if you have a limited budget this could destroy your holiday as neither Expedia or the hotel tell you this prior to booking. 2. The hotel has a rat problem! It is common knowledge to the reception- as the rats can be seen swimming in the pool at night time- my problem with this is that it is a salt water pool with no chlorine- therefore nothing will destroy any germs from the rats- this was explained to the reception staff who showed no interest at all in this instead demanding photos/videos we had of the rats in the pool were deleted. Although not the hotel's fault the location is rather poor as it stinks of raw sewage all the time!! A river runs into the sea by the hotel which has open sewage pipes and around the pool area smells strongly all the time!

The view from the hotel to the sea is amazing , the staff is very kind and it was a pleasure working with them My only downside was the pool which I didn't know it's a salt based pool and not a chlorine one , and it wasn't very pleasant for swimming and also sometimes there was a very bad smell near the pool
