We absolutely loved staying here. The staff is kind and accommodating, the room and view were great, and the restaurant and bar downstairs was wonderful. The only complaint was we had to move our last two nights because of the Saint Louis closing. We did not love the other hotel, but would DEFINITELY stay at the Saint Louis again.

I liked the location, the staff interactions and the help given when requested. Finally, I appreciated the staff's willingness and patience with my so-so French. It felt good and encouraged me to use French in my other interactions around Marseille. Mercie bien a tous.

Nice little hotel with good location
Hotel has good location and parking provided by hotel at discounted rate is not far (about 15 mins walk) Hotel is a bit dated and it would need some refurbishment however, you get what you pay for. Pillows are extremely uncomfortable but other than that it is a nice budget friendly hotel. Service is good and staff very polite.

Dear Huney,We would like to comment on your review of our hotel and your description of your stay as "horrible".We welcomed you with all the sympathy and kindness usually shown by our team.However, your attitude from the moment you checked in and throughout your stay was not very friendly towards our team, either in reception or in our bistro.Your requests in the form of demands without any basic politeness were nevertheless met, but a simple "thank you" from you would have been a minimum.When you lost your sunglasses and our receptionist found them, your ignorant attitude at the time was not appreciated.We fully understand that our Guests may not like the style of our hotel, this is part of the travel experience, however we firmly believe in mutual respect and well-being. A dislike of the hotel does not absolve you from respect and good manners towards your host. Our staff who welcomed you and served you in the restaurant were patient and kind with you, we only regret that we did not have this in reciprocity.We hope despite everything that you enjoyed your visit to Marseille.Yours sincerely

This hotel had what you needed. A bit dated, needs to be upgraded. Nothing outstanding. Our biggest concern was the AC in the room would keep breaking down during our stay. It was super hot. Frustrating waking up in the middle of the night sweating, couldn't open windows because of the mosquitos and the street below was quite loud until all hours of the night. It was close to bars and restaurants.

Great hotel, marginal location.
The hotel and staff were quite friendly and most were very good with helping in English (my French is weak). the breakfast is good and coffee and bar both good, but it closes The room was comfortable, clean and the AC was very good, a must in Marseille. One bad, the area is on the edge of being sketchy. Keep aware of your situations!

Outstanding hotel in the middle of everything, with all the nice amenities, including a café-restaurant, where you can eat breakfast. The coffee could be a tad better, but the croissants are excellent!
