Wonderful staff who were very accommodating, speak English, allowed us to leave our luggage early, and answered all our questions. The location is very convenient, although not a very clean area outside.

I chose this hotel for the closeness to the train station. However, our stay was not good. I paid for a room with a balcony which they did not provide. I was told there was an issue with the booking they would move me to the correct room the next day and adjust the price (I prepaid the room). We were moved the next day to a room with a balcony, unfortunately there was no hot water. There were no other rooms of the type we paid for available. We left the next day with a promise from the front desk that we would be compensated in points as we had prepaid. We have yet to receive anything.

The property was conveniently proximal to the train station. We stayed over night to catch an early train. The area surrounding the train station is not super safe, so I would recommend staying elsewhere if you are staying for any length of time. If you’re just grabbing a train and done plan on going outside, then this is a fine choice for the price. In terms of cleanliness, there was some stains on the carpet, didn’t investigate too closely but the color was brown. The water never got hot in the shower.

Within walking distance of most places of interest. Opposite the station which is great for transport to and from the airport. Very pleasant atmosphere. Decent breakfast. Would recommend for a short stay in Marseille.

Right across the street to gare St Charles if travelling by rail. Very convenient. 20 minute walk to old port and nice restaurants. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Convenient luggage storage before check in and after check out. Breakfast was very good with the right amount of options. Area around hotel appears unsafe in the evening. We know in advance marseille had crime and social issues. Internet and tv didn’t work one night which made things difficult when you feel confined to your room. Overall a wonderful 4day visit.

Good hotel across from train station
Modern, clean, comfortable hotel. Breakfast was okay, but slightly substandard in variety and quality. The location is excellent. The airport bus goes to the train station, and the hotel is right across from the train station. If you are a good walker, it is a comfortable walk (maybe 15-20 minutes) to the old harbor area and museums. The train station is on a steep hill, so if that is a problem for you, then stay down by the harbor instead where the ground is more flat.

What a great hotel to stay in while in Marseilles. The St Charles train station is just across the street and there's a grocery store around the corner. The breakfast is magnificent! The staff is very friendly and attentive.

Amazingly lovely and helpful ladies at the reception especially Miss Yasmine and Miss Buret. Miss Bureft was very kind to call a taxi and help us with the French speaking taxi driver. Great service 10/10. Also amazing location right in front of the station and AMZING buffet breakfast included.

Hotel is right across the street from the train station for easy travel with trains. Room is a bit small, breakfast is plentiful with choices. Overall a comfortable hotel to stay with.

This property was delightful. It is located right across from the major train station in Marseille with trains that will take you all throughout france. The actual property was very quiet with no real traffic from the Train station. A beautiful set of marble steps welcome you to the glass doors. We met with Sophie who checked us in and was so delightful. She speaks English fluently. Sophie gave us a map of Marseille, recommended restaurants to get to, let us know how to get cash out if we wanted to take the bus and gave some amazing suggestions for sites to see during our stay. She made the hotel itself, five stars. The rooms were clean and spacious with an incredible view of marseille. There is air conditioning in the room though it didn't seem to work very well. The weather in Marseille was pretty great so we didn't need it. The room was very nice especially for a room in france. Spacious bathroom with separate showers which is also rare in france. On the other hand, outside of the property it's pretty sketchy. There's not much to do around the property unless being scanned by pickpockets and fending off your valuables, is something that is fun for you. It's not lost on me that we came on June 30th and stayed on July 1st, 2023, during a very important time of racial Reckoning in france. So the night time during protests were challenging. We respect the lives of the people of France. Especially those people of color being unfairly and unjustly targeted by police misuse of deadly force. Our evenings were spent in the resort because of that. And we were okay with that. The daytime however was great. We tried to get an Uber from the hotel but we quickly realized that Uber drivers were accepting and canceling jobs in favor of using their services as taxi drivers which is the preferred mode for the drivers. It benefits the drivers but incredibly inconvenient for customers. We took a taxi to the port which cost us about 22 Euros which is about 23.90. Dollars us. Breakfast was included and it was basic but yummy. There were lots of lounging and seating areas very enjoyable. I would avoid traveling to the store next door however. Some woman and her baby came to us and asked us to buy her baby Pampers buy accompanying her to the store across the street. We certainly didn't do that but instead bought her some food at the train station. The train station directly across the street had lots of small bites to eat. There was also a restaurant on the corner. Other than that there's not a lot of dining options nearby this resort. But by and large, I would certainly come again. Thank you again to Sophie for making our experience so wonderful.

Great location and good condition.
Great location facing the train station. If you can't see it when you arrive, try another exit, you simply cross over the road and you are there. The room itself was spacy and of a good standard. The breakfast was a bit disappointing with not much choice and very small plates and cups. We can't complain though because it was free.

The location is good for early morning train travel. No fridge in the room but there is a guest fridge to store items in in the kitchen (access via receptionist). The hotel is dated and could use some upgrades but it’s functional for one night stay if train travel is part of the plan.
