Great location with spectacular views of harbor from the breakfast area and pool. Having nothing but sheer drapes on our ground floor window made me uncomfortable so I would not recommend rooms on the ground floor.

We picked this hotel for its proximity to the train station since we had an early train, but it we were surprised at what a eclectic, modern and comfortable hotel it was. The rooms are laid out different but fun with plenty of room for things. The pool was nice - especially since it had plenty of shade options. The restaurant was delicious and a lifesaver since nothing outside the town walls was open on the Monday night we were there. (A festival in town kept us away because we were done with crowds, traffic and heat!). Service was great.

Extremely pleased with this hotel. It was a big surprise for us. The location is amazing. The heated pool is incredible. It’s large and immaculate. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean. We were given an early check in when we arrived with our 2 babies. Would def def recommend!

The BW Rade Hotel Cassis is fabulous! My son and I stayed here one night in Aug 2022, and loved it. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The lieu is stunning (view on the ocean), and the rooms are very clean and practical. We will definitely come back, and will recommend to our friends.

They should be a little more careful about cleanliness - we found a contact lens on the bathroom floor and the bathtub had some black fuzz in it...good for the hotels.com price but I wouldn't want to pay any more for the room off season...

The hotel was a Best Western Plus. I expected the rooms to be bigger than a shoe box! In the website there is no mention of getting a balcony room which I would have preferred. The photos of the hotel were misleading. If it wasn’t late in the day and we weren’t already tired from driving I would have found somewhere else to stay. No help with luggage. Corridor was dark and we couldn’t find the light. The light only turns on if you come to your room. If you are leaving your room the hallway is dark and you cannot are your way without the flashlight function on your phone! Horrible!!

Our air conditioner made a lot of noise, and one employee said to open the door. Even though we were on the third floor and didn’t feel comfortable sleeping with the door open. When I called the front desk they helped me get another room.

Tiny room, great service and location
We spent a few days here and it was overall great-- the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and it was close enough to the harbor for easy walking but not so close to be loud. The room was pretty tiny but I assume that's common in the area, and there's a nice common area where we could eat lunch that we'd brought back from the market when it was too cold to sit outside. I'd be happy to go back.

Great location and beautiful room (Junior Suite). We were very unfortunate that our rental car got broken in just before we got to the hotel. We couldnt find parking at first and parked a few streets away, car got looted in broad day light! There is parking at hotel so just drive to there directly. Receptionist lady was very helpful and offered us assistance (very stressful day as one can imagine). Breakfast was adequate. Pool area is being renovated when we stayed probably ready for Easter or summer. Suite was great, we got a good price as we booked last minute and on Sunday night. Amazing view and good in-room facility. Would stay again and we high recommend you pull up at hotel and offload all your luggage!!

Very welcoming, great location near town and the beach. Breakfast buffet has great selection. Pool was under construction which was disappointing for my son but when you can swim in the Med, it wasn't missed that much.

The room was so small and ill-planned that you couldn’t open the bathroom door without banging into the bed and the sad wee closet was placed behind the nightstand with an accordion door that was the wrong size so it didn’t close. It’s close to the harbor but everything is. If you can find any other reasonable place stay there. If you HAVE to stay here, the staff is lovely and there is terrace off the lobby with a lovely view.

Great location
The hotel has an amazing view of the mediterranean and the pool area is quite nice as well. It is a 5 minute walk to the port, beaches, and restaurants. Cassis is an absolute must see if you are near Marseille. The Calanques national park is a 45 minute walk to the entrance and is breath-taking. The hotel has free parking. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The rooms were small (normal for europe), the bed was very comfortable , and the the bathroom was very nice.

Nice hotel
The hotel is up the hill in the centre of Cassis. It is a lovely 3.5 star hotel. The rooms are small but comfortable and the pool area too is small but has a lovely view. The sun loungers are tired but functional. The location is a 5-10 mins walk from the port. The hill may be a little steep for some but we found it easy enough. It was a lovely location to walk to the calanques from, and enjoy the beautiful coastal town from. Lots of good restaurants nearby.

Hotel disappointing
The Classic rooms are very small, claustrophobic with a view onto rocks. The colour of bedding and fittings in the Expedia photos did not match those in the hotel for this room , so I was confused about what room I had been given and thought I had been downgrraded! I thought this hotel was also noisy in high season and poor value for money. The hotel itself is well situated and staff friendly and very helpful. Pool and view pretty. The hotel' s owner also owns the Best Western in La Ciotat which is a much better hotel, bigger rooms , with an infinity pool on the roof.

I recently returned from a visit to this average hotel and my credit card was charged for the next door rooms incidentals. I called and was told by the front desk that this was the case but they have never credited my card and I have had to dispute it with their bank. Will Not return to this mediocre Best Western.

What a great find!
Our stay at the Best Western Hotel La Rade was outstanding! We stayed in the junior suite, the nicest room in the hotel from what I could surmise. While the room was not huge, it had a private deck and a spectacular view of the Mediterranean from both. The location was perfect; an easy walk into the heart of Cassis. We were greeted by Nicholas at the front desk and he could not have been more charming or helpful. What a great find!

Decent hotel
It's a place to sleep. Can hear all plumbing from other rooms.. Including use of toilets.. During its use. My wire was happy with the room. It is simple but clean. Renovated. I'd not stay here if given the choice again. But it's got a nice view and friendly staff.. Don't care for the flooring or the noise. But it's a old retrofitted hotel.

The best room in Cassis
My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights in the Junior Suite which is an incredible room. I would highly recommend treated yourself and making your stay incredible in this one of a kind suite. The private deck and stunning views and amazing. Our stay was during winter so it was very quiet. The staff were fabulous and went out of their way to accommodate us with anything we needed. Highly recommend!

The hotel was fine but it had a few niggles. The worst was that the bathroom 'flooded' when we showered. The other thing is that the corridor leading to our room was dark. There is a switch to turn on the light but we had to walk several metres to get to the one nearest our door. A motion sensor would have worked better. Not a single English language channel on TV, not even news. Advertised that there were Canal satellite channels, but there weren't.

disappointing room for the price
Reservation was made in advance for a comfort room I believe.Upon check in was told we were upgraded from a classic room to comfort room for the price of classic. The size of the "comfort" room was so small, I can't imagine the size of a classic. It was excruciatingly crowded with two people plus two suitcases. Upon check out, I definitely was charged for the comfort room and emailed to enquire and was told no one would have advised me that I was paying for the lower priced room. I did not make that up. So disappointing that they did not honor the lower price.
