This property is listed as a 4 star accommodation, which is not at all accurate. Expedia needs to review this property immediately to register the rating at no more than a 2-3 Star hotel. The location is fine if you want to be far from the maddening crowds. 4 Metro stops from Vieux Port using both Metro lines. The hotel is 3 years old, but looks like 10. The staff was generally grumpy and unhappy, which I believe is a big sign that there is a problem with the management. The breakfast was a big disappointment. The hot food was never hot, the cappuccino machine produced curdled milk in my Latte. Customers were constantly requesting items to be filled and asking for food that should have been ready accessible for them. The rooms were exactly like the photos with the exception of the bed, which claimed to be a King and was really two twins pushed together and not very well. The beds themselves were hard and uncomfortable and when we requested additional bedding to soften the bed, the staff person at the desk was not at all gracious, but rather snotty about it. I was tempted to suggest that she spend a night on the bed before she makes an assumption on how the beds really are. The shower was good, but the drain did not work. We were swimming in water every time we took a shower. The water would overflow constantly. We reported this, but nothing was done. I don't know the standards of Marseille, but this is not a 4 star hotel!
