"Marsa Shagra Village truly felt like a home away from home. Beyond the breathtaking beauty of the Red Sea, what made this place unforgettable was the warmth, professionalism, and heartfelt spirit of the entire team. A special thank you to the wonderful and playful dive instructor Anja, whose joyful energy and dedication made every dive unforgettable. Huge appreciation as well to the amazing equipment buddy Budi and dive team led by cheerful Basta — always organized, helpful, and smiling. Nur at reception welcomed everyone with genuine kindness, while Riad from bookings made everything effortless from the start. Staying in the royal beachfront tent was magical and only added to the feeling of being part of a family rather than a resort. The underwater world was incredible: dolphins, colourful corals, turtles, octopuses, and even the shy and adorable dugong. At night, the sky revealed the most stunning blanket of stars I’ve ever seen. The buffet offered generous variety and many delicious dishes — though at times a slightly smaller selection might allow for even more consistency in quality. The pizzeria deserves a special mention: the Egyptian pizzaiolo Midu makes pizzas worthy of Napoli! I also loved that some vegetables come from the nearby farm cared for by Ott, who also brings beautiful greenery into the desert surroundings.
