Highly recommend this Riad! My girlfriend and I originally booked here for 4 nights and ended up staying 5. The place is sparkling clean, breakfast was brilliant and Mohammed is probably the nicest person in Marrakesh. Anything we needed, Mohammed knew what we needed and was the most welcoming host we have ever experienced. It’s also a short walk to the medina, 5 minutes or so and has a great rooftop. The riad was absolutely beautiful. I loved the courtyard and the rooftop terrace. Both are great areas to relax and given how busy the surrounding area is, it is surprisingly quiet. The room was super comfortable and the details on the furniture, the mosaic walls, the furnishings… just everything was so well done that I was left wondering if I can recreate even a little bit of it in my home. The attention to detail is exactly on point for both the property and the staff. The manager is one of the nicest people I have ever met. My dad got sick from bronchitis and he went above and beyond to help make sure we were comfortable. He was very helpful and always with a smile on his face. He makes you feel as though you are the only guest he has to take care of. The riad is only a handful of minutes from the bazaar, so it’s easy to simply go wander around during your down time. If you want to go outside of the old city just ask the staff to call a cab for you. Would love to stay again. Actually, the manager was so nice my mom and I not only got a photo with him but I was almost ready to tell him that if he was ever in town, he should come stay with us 😀

Riad Mehdia is a fantastic place to stay in the old part of Marrakech. It's very close to the main attractions and easy to get in and out of. Additionally it is a beautiful home that has roof decks to long on and 2 court yards to enjoy. The staff is very helpful and willing to accommodate most needs

Amazing but some issues (considering the price)
Enjoyable but slightly frustrating at times. Absolutely stunning Riad in an amazing location and with beautiful facilities. However the service was somewhat frustrating for the price of the stay. The riad were very accommodating and helped us to book an extra night with them. However on arrival we were told we had to pay for this by 6pm that evening (despite being tired from travelling all day and staying for 5 nights - maybe some previous trouble with people leaving and not paying?). We were showed to our room (which was beautiful), but did not lock. The staff were aware of this and reminded but there was no effort to try fix this. Luckily we felt extremely safe and the staff were lovely so we kept expensive items on us and had to leave it unlocked. On a couple occasions no one was available to answer the door to the riad, leaving us outside in the medina street. Was answered eventually and staff were extremely apologetic. Breakfast delicious (although bread felt stale) and property was spotless! The woman in the property work all day cleaning the entire property and their work did not go unnoticed! They offer tours through the riad which I personally believe to be extremely overpriced but no pressure to go with them. Overall I'd say this place this perfect for short stays, but maybe could find somewhere better for the price. Although i would stay here again (but not for as long as we did).

Lovely stay
Lovely riad. We were so happy to have chosen this one out of all the available options! Perfect location- a short walk away from the big square and the palaces and the mellah. Great shops and restaurants right on the door step. Yummy breakfast everyday on a stunning terrace. The only gripe is that the wifi was really slow, but this may be the norm for local riads.

Perfect service and location
Stayed here with my daughter for a few nights, fantastic location and service not to be beaten.. I even got times wrong and was an hour late for breakfast (not entirely my fault, Easyjet captain said there was no time difference, thanks Easyjet!), they didn't bat an eyelid. Great location, close to the souks and the main square, felt very safe coming and going. Highly recommended.

Great riad and conveniently located
The staff are so lovely and always happy to assist. This is about 5 minutes walk from Jemaa el Fna and very close to other tourist attractions. Its easy to find once you know where it is. Just remember this is a Riad and not a hotel, you will hear people in the court yard, and you will need to be quiet entering and exiting out of hours to respect the other guests. Most staff had a decent understanding of English and fluent French. I think if you are on the ground floor this will be ok for someone with limited mobility, although you would need help to go upstairs to the roof top garden - although my room on the ground floor had a bath only so you would need enquire / consider this also. I also had hammam and a massage which I can highly recommend. Breakfast is huge, which is great if you are out all day. It is very heavy, so if you are very health conscious I would suggest having the fresh orange juice and purchasing a muesli or similar.

Wunderschöner Aufenhalt
Sehr schönes Riad in einer Top Lage. Hinzu kommt noch das gute Frühstück und das freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Soufiane hat einen super Job gemacht und konnte fix aushelfen. Immer wieder gerne!

Very nice, clean and neatly decorated riad. There is room service every day and a delicious breakfast with coffee or tea, orange juice, fruit and different types of bread. Very close to Yamaa el Fna. Comfy bed and quiet room (rooms facing the street are noisier).

I was very satisfied with my stay in this riad, very clean, comfortable, the staff polite and friendly. Only few minutes from the square and taxi point, easy to find. Beautiful rooftop with flowers. Room a little bit dark, but with a real romantic feeling, very quiet.

Très beau Riad
Très beau Riad avec un personnel aux petits soins avec les clients. Nous y avons passé 3 nuits, les petits déjeuner varient un peu tous les jours. La piscine est petite mais agréable pour se rafraîchir À bientôt

Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel, attent en aardig. Het was fijn om thuis te komen uit de drukke stad in deze oase van rust. Ontbijt was simpel maar vers. Als wij weer naar Marrakech gaan zullen wij zeker hier nog een keer verblijven.

Un superbe Riad au cœur de la Médina
Le Riad Mehdia est superbe, nous avions la chambre berbère qui était tout en haut !!! Génial !!! Les petits-Déjeuner en terrasse sont top, copieux, divins et le cadre est tout simplement magnifique !!! Le personnel du Riad est au petit soin, Hassan et Youssef sont adorables nous avons beaucoup discuté avec eux, et tout les gens qui travaillent au Riad sont super !! Je recommande le Riad Mehdia sans hésiter !!!

Riad fort sympathique
Nous avons été accueilli par notre hôte (jeune homme très souriant) de façon très chaleureuse. Il a été de bons conseils pour nos visites. Le riad est proche de presque tous les lieux intéressants à visiter, vers lesquels nous nous sommes rendus à pied (excepté le Ménara). Les petits déjeuners étaient excellents ainsi que le repas du soir pris sur place. Chambre agréablement décorée, confortable et originale (c'est un Riad !) . Merci encore à notre hôte.

Superbe riad dont l'aspect typique a été conservé. De nombreux espaces aménagés pour le repos du voyageur idéales après avoir baigné dans la folie marrakchie et la chaleur. Petit bassin rafraîchissant (ne vous attendez pas à une eau à 30° rare dans les riad car bassin en bas).personnel très accueillant, discret et aux petits soins. Petit déjeuner extra avec confitures maisons et variées, fruits frais, jus d'orange pressé et spécialités (crêpes, cake marocains ect) différentes chaque jour. On aurait presque l'impression d'une seconde maison! De plus très bien placé à 5min à pied de la place jamaa el fna, des zouks, du palais bahia, tombeaux saadiens et palais de la badi.

Außergewöhnlich schönes Riad, sehr zu empfehlen
Die Abholung vom Flughafen verlief perfekt. Die Begrüßung im Riad war unheimlich freundlich und professionell, man erklärte uns die Umgebung und gab uns eine erste Orientierung. Angenehm war, dass sich das Personal stets bemühte leise zu sein und den Gast nicht zu stören. Die Zimmer waren schön im marrokkanischen Style. Die Bäder waren offen. Unser Zimmer war leider zur Straße gerichtet, sodass es bei offenem Fenster durch die Mopeds sehr laut war, bei geschlossenem Fenster hörte man nichts. Das Früstück wurde auf der wunderschönenen, sehr gepflegten Dachterasse serviert, mit tolle verschiedenen selbst gemachte Marmeladen (sehr ausgefallen Sorten). Man konnte sehr gut auf der Dachterasse in den Liegestühlen relaxen und man hat einen tollen Ausblick auf die Medina und das Gebirge. Es war alles sehr gepflegt, das Personal war sehr um Sauberkeit, Ordnung und Ruhe bemüht. Das Riad liegt super zentral, sehr nah am "la place". Wir hatten mehrere Riads während unseres Aufenhaltes, doch Riad Mehdia war mit Abstand das Beste. Empfehlen würde ich ein Zimmer zum Innenhof, dann ist es der perfekte Ort.

Trevlig riad som har ett perfekt läge. På frukosten var det alldeles för mycket sötsaker med det är väl deras kultur.
