We had a very good stay at this property and would stay again. The front desk agent at check in was extremely friendly, helpful, and efficient. Our room was clean and comfortable and well stocked. Most everything in the room was in working condition (the smoke detector was hanging by wires and it is unclear whether it was working,) and the space was quiet and inviting. I have a few minor complaints: the parking lot was completely unplowed of snow, but, to be fair, this was the first real accumulation we've had all year, and perhaps this was the reason. The shampoo in the room was in packets, not small bottles, and was very hard to open. The breakfast bar was ok and seemed to be well stocked, however, the bread, bagels, and donuts were hard as rocks, which tells me they were old and left out instead of being stocked fresh. We would stay again in a pinch and would recommend when there would be higher turnover, which may alleviate all issues besides the shampoo packets.

I booked a room with a private spa tub. No spa tub in the room, and no private spa tub that I could find on property. Something growing on the wall by the a/c. Shower was very dirty. Drop ceiling in bathroom had rust. Couch was extremely uncomfortable, the bed wasn't much better. Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant.

I believe this is an older property that has been renovated with great success!!! My room was cleaner than any 5star hotel I have stayed in the past.. Not fancy but comfortable. The pool, hot tub and sauna were very nice too!

Very clean, well maintained property, however, TV reception seems very spotty. This was also a problem on a previous stay here a few months ago and I overheard others at breakfast having similar issues. The front desk was very sympathetic and as helpful as possible but we still had issues with picture freeze or the screen momentarily blacking out. It’s not a deal breaker because it is such a nice clean facility and that is most important to us. Recycling collection containers would be a nice addition, also.

Hidden Gem for NMU parents
Very unexpected great place. Super clean new faciltiy tucked away in Ishpeming. The pool and hot tub area were astounding and brand new. Im staying in the cabins next. They looked fabulous
