We booked 2 superior rooms, which were really comfortable and we thought very reasonably priced - we even got dressing gowns! We were in the Bewick Wing which is a separate building to the rear.
Breakfast was very good - not a vast choice but really good quality with enormous bacon rashers and sausages.
Only downside was that it was noisy at night. It was hot so we needed our window open - as well as loud voices, the nearby church strikes every quarter of an hour, 24 hours a day.
We would definitely choose to stay here again.
