Alessandra at Reception was very courteous and helpful with answering any questions, but the Continental Resort website could definitely use some updating in terms of photos and information provided, e.g. on using the pool and what services are on offer at the beach, for prospective guests. The email address link provided on the site was incorrect (.ita instead of .it) which was needlessly frustrating. Overall, the pool area is clean with toilets and showers, and well-maintained. The beach area too is well-maintained, perhaps a little strict in curtailing which deckchairs can be used, especially at the end of season or the weather is bad and there are very few guests around, with low demand for beach services. Overall, though l was pleasantly surprised by Continental Resort and will definitely return! Tirrenia is a great location, not only for a beach getaway, but also in its vicinity to Pisa Airport and Train Station, as a base for further travel.
