Central location, great value!
As good as it gets for that price! Breakfast could be a tat better For the price, but no drama. Would go back.

Nice room
Quick checked in, less than 5 minutes. Very helpful and friendly receptionist. Room is modern with air-con, neat, simple & clean. Bed is comfortable. Shower room is small but manageable. 'wardrobe' is very small. 1 minute walk to the tram-stop. Train station is 3 stops away only.

Great location, too hot top floor room
The hotel is located very centrally, perfect for exploring Besancon on foot. The hotel feels like the typical Ibis experience, so you always know the level of quality you get. However, this time we had one big issue with the room: we were given a room on the top floor, which was unbearably hot even at night. One couldn't breathe in the room, let alone stay a whole night in. We complained at the reception and even though they initially claimed there was nothing they could do (in French, which we don't really speak), we were determined and kept persisting that the temperature and lack of air in the room was a real issue. After much deliberation, one of the staff members accompanied us to the room and agreed himself that the room indeed was too hot and airless and didn't have suitable conditions to stay overnight. The only option he could offer us was a room next door, and even though that room felt also too warm for our taste, it was much better than the original room and we could bear the temperature, so we gladly accepted the room change. So in the end, it all ended well, it was just the inconvenience of having to go through that experience and wasting the energy on something basic that shouldn't be an issue at all. To sum it up, we would recommend this hotel for its fantastic location and overall good state, just make sure to stay away from the top floor rooms until they fix their temperature issues

Just one night stay. Hotel was very easy to find and in a good central location. Great car parking very secure. Room was very comfortable although a bit warm. Have stayed in a number of ibis hotels in France so knew pretty much what to expect. Facilities were adequate and breakfast was quite good. Ideal option for a short stay.

This property is in a great location close to the historic district. There are a lot of restaurants and shopping nearby. The room was very comfortable and clean.

Very good location, close to pretty much all the places of interest in the old town. Very clean room with a spacious bathroom that is rare for a three star hotel. Super helpful staff. Good breakfast for under 10 euros. Secured parking on the premise for a very reasonable fee. Would stay at this Ibis again.

Nice hotel located in the city centre

Good value city centre hotel with parking
Easy to find and simple friendly check-in. Car parking at rear reasonably priced. Room adequate, clean and very quiet. Bathroom a little small but we'll facilitated with great shower. Bed was super comfortable. Reasonbly prices but did not take up breakfast ( extra €9.90) as preferred a simple coffee out. Very recommended.

Great quality for price and convenient
Passing thro' to Montreaux. Convenient, easy secure parking (though narrow entrance), efficient and pleasant reception, comfortable bed, excellent quality shower. Wifi etc all efficient. Easy short walk into centre for shops/restaurants.

Hotel is being renovated - scaffolding outside, builders inside, my room needed a deep clean after building work. Changed rooms, more or less the same - builders have made a mess and management seem to find condition acceptable. Also corner rooms 202/302 etc are for disabled so found chairs inside shower, tap extensions that get in way when washing etc. Staff are friendly but my rooms were a mess

Good town and hotel for overnight stay
Overnight en route from Epernay to Gruyeres, Briancon was a good overnight stopiing place. It is a great town for the evening, pretty town centre to stroll around, walk up to the citadel. Had a great meal at a Moroccan restaurant near the hotel. Hotel staff were great and even found a kettle for our room when we asked.

Excellent home base
This clean and comfortable hotel is on a quiet side-street only steps from a tram stop and bicycle rental station so I consider it the ideal base from which to explore the many delights that the city has to offer. Short walk to shopping and restaurants or just a leisurely stroll along the Doub. Two thumbs up!

Nice location close to the city centre and within walking distance. The rooms are airy, spacious, bright and very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very good with many items to choose. I enjoyed my stay and the staff was friendly, accommodating and very helpful.

A very good choice
This was the best Ibis we have stayed in. Staff were very friendly, bed very comfortable, shower easy to operate, good choice at breakfast. I would not hesitate to go back to this hotel if and when I need to go back to Besancon. Our room was at the rear of the hotel and we heard very little noise from outside. We were visiting our daughter who is working in Besancon. A trip to the Citadelle is an absolute must.

Good location for sight seeing
We were made to feel very welcome by front of house staff, after a long journey and some difficulty finding the hotel (we don't use sat nav). The room was very clean and the bed in particular was comfortable. We slept well, but had to close the window due to noisy young people outside. The location of the hotel is its greatest asset, and we walked everywhere with a town plan provided by reception. We had breakfast in the hotel one morning only, and what we had was perfectly good and plentiful. Overall this was a positive experience and would recommend the hotel to others.

Clean, spacious room. Enormous bathroom (although no shower). Friendly staff, with hotel parking squeezed at the back of the hotel (there is a parking charge). Very close to town centre with plenty of bars, resturants and shops.

This hotel was pretty good. We stayed here one night on our way Paris. The room was bigger than we expected which was nice. The staff was helpful, but you could see the frustration on the receptionist's face that we did not speak french. She was even more frustrated when we asked to switch rooms. The first room she gave us smelled like cigarette smoke, even though we asked for a non-smoking room. We did not have the breakfast, but it looked like there was a pretty good variety. We would probably stay again if it was a quick stop, but we would defintely stay somewhere else for an extended trip.

Hotel liegt nahe an der Innenstadt, alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Zimmer sind zwar entsprechend klein, aber funktional ausgestattet. Gutes Frühstück. Personal sehr zuvorkommend.
