There was confusion over pet friendly, its not for all rooms, had booked unknowingly a non pet friendly room. The owner very kindly sorted it out.
Be careful of this, and pets are charged extra.
Compact and cosy shepherds huts with everything you would need. Plenty of cooking equipment including a microwave, plug in hob, toaster and loads of utensils. The log burner is great and once its going warms up the room quickly! the electric radiator also warms the room quickly if you're not feeling like making a fire. Was staying in the area for work and found it a great alternative to the humdrum of a hotel room and a place I could cook my own food.
Hannah and Debs went out of their way to make me feel welcome including bringing more firelighters to the hut when I'd run out.
Would highly recommend for a memorable and cosy stay!
Just wanted a few days escape from the grind and the Shepherd's Hut was perfect. The interior is clean, well thought out and full of little extras (toiletries, utensils, toaster) that showed the hosts wanted you to enjoy it. Breakfast was yummy and would thoroughly recommend, shower was also surprisingly good and bed very comfortable.
We had a really lovely time staying in one of the shepherds huts this weekend.
It was clean, quirky and comfortable. The whole site was really peaceful and relaxing.
We would definately stay again but maybe not in really hot weather - we did take a fan to keep us cool. It would be lovely to stay in winter with the log burner. Owners are really friendly and the take away breakfasts are lovely .
A fantastic couple of nights away, thank you. The shepherds hut was tucked away from the camp site so was lovely and peaceful and also really clean throughout! We ordered breakfast which was delivered to the cabin and they catered for my partners gluten free requirement which was fantastic. The river was through a secure gate and Had room for fishing, canoeing etc and was a lovely walk along to the town. Everything was great and we will be back! Thank you
Charming Shepards Hut accommodation. Clean, fresh milk in the fridge and immediate access to the river for a run / walk into March.
Would highly recommend.
We were welcomed by our friendly host. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated and the beds were comfortable. The fridge with milk in it was appreciated and the full English breakfast brought to our room was excellent. There is a half hour walk to March with views of the river and a good choice of eating places. We can thoroughly recommend a stay at Fourwinds
We stayed for one night in one of Fourwinds Shepherd huts, we found the staff and hut absolutely faultless and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. We would definitely return.
Thank you

We booked the accommodation solely on the reviews
The Hosts/ accommodation did not disappoint
Its not the Ritz but beds very comfortable and breakfast superb delivered to the room by the breakfast queen DEBS
Highly recommended with luxury feel - great value!
Our hosts were quick to respond to queries and ensured we had everything that made our stay comfortable and quiet - great optional breakfast too beautifully presented; we especially appreciated the thoughtful details to accommodate people during the pandemic, so having fresh milk ready in our mini fridge was great.
The room was immaculate and bathroom of very high quality, made our stay more luxurious than expected. Highly recommended.
Beautiful place the owner was so welcoming the room was very large, clean and comfortable and the breakfast was lovely We visited with our 6 year old daughter and baby and it was more than accommodating. The b&b was very homely and private. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay.
We came to stay overnight for a funeral the following morning. We were made very welcome and the room was really comfy. We had a lovely stroll along the canal before going out for dinner. We even slept through a noisy thunderstorm so had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was really great, best we've had for a long while. Bev and John made us very welcome and we plan to return for a short relaxing break again. Couldn't fault anything. Thank you.
Absolutely stunning shepherds hideaway! Much bigger than it seems in the pictures and beautifully kitted out. It’s warm and cosy, we went there in torrential rain and the hideaway was the perfect place to escape. The people are lovely, they think of all the little details like providing milk and tea and coffee, they also had kindling and logs there ready for us as it was a bit chilly. They can’t do enough for you and the whole place is really quiet and peaceful.
A 2 day break with the family in a relaxed and peaceful location, the owners are very accommodating, breakfast was excellent, rooms clean and plenty of secure outdoor open space for the children, we shall definitely be returning in the near future, highly recommend a visit.
