Really enjoyed our stay - been here a few times over the years ( last time hotel was in poor condition) but a lot better this time - really nice reception staff - we had a comparable room with a rooftop area which was really handy - easy walk into the port and close to the beach - will definitely go back
Ticked all our boxes-location-facilities-dining experiences-atmosphere-evening entertainment-the staff---in fact the Only negative was size of bathroom--need to get rid of bidet-who in this day and age ever uses one!We only went for 5nights--just not long enough! We will definitely go back-even if it was just for Manuel who played every night for us in the Whisky Lounge-and we danced until 2am!!Loved it!
This hotel is upscale and very nice. Clean rooms and bathrooms. The restaurant staff is very good. The pool was great. Easy walk to Puerto Banus and free parking out front. The breakfast buffet was expansive. Only complaint was that the "welcome cocktail" was not adequately explained, and we ordered wine, which was not included, and we could not understand the bartender who did not speak English. The food and drink prices are high for the area. The food was excellent. Right on the beach. Enjoyed a clear view of the blood moon.
The hotel is located about 20 minutes from the centre of Marbella, it is a beautiful golfing resort. A free shuttle gives you access to the beach club on the Mediterranean sea. The staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful with all of our requests.
"Perfect stay at this hotel overlooking the beach"
We came to Marbella for a 2 day stay from Granada in our tour of Andalucia. The hotel was a highlight for us. Wonderful location overlooking the sea, walking distance to the "Old City," the parks and lovely neighborhood restaurants. We enjoyed the 2 swimming pools and manicured grounds. The breakfasts were great with offerings for everyone. The room and bath were spacious and the view from the balcony included Gibraltar! Highly recommend!
Only thing to note - perhaps due to time of year (October), very few families and young couples and mainly an older crowd. Worked well for us!

We loved the hotel room, big and spacious, we loved the view also from our top floor room. The balcony and the furniture was comfortable. The hotel swimming pool was nice and big. Also we loved the fact of having breakfast outside. It was just wonderful. Thank you very much for Alanda staff, we will definetely will be back in Marbella. Loved the sea side and also the city.

While the check in was not terribly nice and left me with a bad first impression, the rest of the stay was great. I thought breakfast was included but it wasn't. That was an extra 26 euros for us a day. The beach club is 40 euro a day with a 30 euro rental fee for sunbeds in the beach club. A bit extortionate for off season. Everything else was fine. Food was excellent!
Synonymous with international glamour, Marbella presents both the old and new faces of the Costa del Sol. Its charming Old Town is a warren of whitewashed streets with authentic tapas bars while six kilometres west, glitzy Puerto Banús boasts super yachts, designer outlets and gold-card dining. There are two sandy town beaches with water sports, and nearby championship golf courses. After dark, nightclubs are upscale and often exclusive.
