Hotel seems new with modern furnishings. Walking distance to Mannheim train station makes this a great hotel if you’re doing train travels. Great breakfast spread. High quality hair dryer, bathroom radio / music access is a nice touch, electric water kettle in the room is great for tea making, and secure if you’re arriving in early or late hours from train.

overall this hotel is great - good and friendly service, clean rooms good amenities. Also easy access to transportation (right next to main train station and main bus station); there was some unfavorable activity occurring by the train station, but that is common for train stations in Germany.

The hotel condition is excellent, staff are nice and breakfast is great! From there it’s convenient to visit places around like Ladenburg.

Modern Hotel by Mannheim Hbf
A great location very close to the station in Mannheim - taxis by the door. Its a modern clean hotel with a good breakfast.

Not the best for solo tourist
It was a super nicely renovated hotel. It was close to the train station which a lot of guests would rate as a pro, but I wish I had read all the reviews. As a solo female traveler from the states, I did not feel comfortable walking around pretty much anytime after 5PM. The AC in the room didn’t work and the windows don’t really open, so it felt very warm and stuffy. That being said, the garden and bar are beautiful and rooms super clean and modern. If you’re coming for business or via train it’s a fantastic spot, as a tourist with a car not so much.

Great all round choice
Modern hotel with very comfortable rooms and a friendly welcome. Good quality and super tasty breakfast and the service was great to match. Convenient location 1 min away from the main train station. My only gripe: I found my room too hot, even with the AC down very low. But overall, I'd happily return!

Great location right across the street from the train station. We loved the usb connectors so we could charge multiple devices at the same time. Very friendly staff too.

Excellent location (even though surroundings doesn’t look nice). Beds are very comfortable; the room, in general, is. Breakfast is excellent as well as the Postman Restaurant. Customer service great. If we have to come back, we’ll definitely stay here.

Really great place to stay, right near HBF
Surprisingly convenient location - we found parking on the street, which was obviously less convenient, but ended up costing us about 7 Euros for the time we needed (currently 1.8/hour, free 20:00-8:00). We were there during renovations, so only one elevator was working, which was a little frustrating, but really, everything else was perfect :)
