My Daughter ended up having to use our bathroom because there was a leak under the sink and water was all over the floor. Additionally, the water was leaking from that bathroom through the ceiling to the bedroom below. To be fair, the host mentioned in a message that there was a problem with the sink the afternoon that we were going to check in. We decided to go ahead and keep the reservation because we were exhausted from driving and didn't want to deal with finding another lodging option. Looking back we should have just cancelled because the problem was much worse than the host conveyed to us. One bedroom and bathroom was completely inaccessible and we were not offered a discount or other remedy for our trouble. The host did leave a Panera gift card for us but I should have insisted on a discount on our nightly rate considering we booked the residence with the full intention of having access to the entire listing and we did not. ##### Karen Stayed 2 nights in Jul 2025 ### 8/10 Good #### Jose R. 20 Oct 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, communication, location Disliked: Check-in We stayed here for a Green Bay Packers game and overall had a memorable experience. The house is full of charm and truly an architectural masterpiece that transports you to the Frank Lloyd Wright era. The design and décor, both inside and out, are stunning and unique.However, a few issues need attention. The listing mentioned a washer, but there wasn’t one. Some appliances were faulty, and only toilet paper was provided, no coffee supplies or other basics. There was no welcome book or guide, so I had to ask the host for most details, including check-in and check-out procedures, Wi-Fi password, main door operation, and linen placement, etc. A previous review noted a leak that the host said was resolved, but we still experienced it. It didn’t affect the bedroom below (we had to place a bucket) but did limit the use of the bathroom above. The front steps are loose and pose a hazard, and the lack of curtains in the main areas affects privacy.On the positive side, the neighborhood is quiet and great for morning walks. Despite some maintenance and communication gaps, Nikki was responsive and helpful throughout our stay.
