Stayed for 3 nights - Lovely looking hotel and lovely pool area. Good size room but air conditioning/heating did not work. No free water in the room. Bed and pillows not comfortable. Breakfast very disappointing

Best Hotel in a quaint Location
Such a beautiful hotel , from my arrival To the end of my 2 days EVERYBODY was so nice on the hotel ... so accommodating, top class .

Friendly professional staff , restaurant adequate but could do with revamp. Service and food very good, ambiance a little lacking but that may have simply been the quiet time of year.

Relaxing break
Great welcoming from the receptionists on duty, really nice and pleasant. Great spacious room, thou bed a bit uncomfortable. Relaxing atmosphere, great surrounding areas. Great pools and great bar and restaurant staff. overall really happy. Will be back again.

Nice place we have stayed here about 8 times now but every time it seems a bit less ‘prestigious’ definitely now a former glory vibe but still good but don’t expect everything to be in working order especially the spa.

Charged deposit for towels and would not allow us to dry off and hand back. Paying good dollar for a two bedroom suite, it’s an inconvenience to go to front desk and pay $10 per towel deposit. Not allowing us to dry off on the spot and hand back the towel is preventing us from booking at this hotel in the future. Drying off is a safety issue first and a comfort issue second. Dinner buffet excellent. Really happy with our room. Pools are a bit dated with rust in areas with metal and by the pool hut. Breakfast was decent. Amenities are fine. Parking is 5 euros a night so reasonable, or free parking on the street. We liked the stay overall. One issue, during the evening about 4 blocks, there was loud music blaring into the night until 3:30 am. We slept but we could hear it for most of the night and it was annoying.

Another great short stay
Love going here for short breaks. Friendly staff, great restaurants in the area and nice walks when it’s not hot. Alas the hotel is beginning to show it needs some refurbishment.

Charming and comfortable.
The hotel oozes old world charm, with beautiful public rooms full of lovely furniture and large, comfortable airy bedrooms. The staff are unfailingly courteous and nothing is too much trouble. It is a good 10 to fifteen minute, steep walk up into the delightful town of Benahavis, which has a very good choice of restaurants and bars, The walk back down to the hotel is very much easier and quicker, with lovely views. This is our second visit and we will definitely be returning again next year.

Ive stayed here a few times and it never fails to be a good stay. Rooms are spacious, staff excellent and good pool facilities. Breakfast choice is plentiful. Only downside at the moment which is no fault of the hotel is the noisy construction work next to the hotel and the pools. Work starts at 7 am until 2 pm

Liked the Large room, the breakfast, the reception welcome, the view onto the courtyard, the courtyard itself, the location, the peace and tranquility, the staff, the location - and the price. The pool was basic but quite nice. Did not really like having to pre-pay (on arrival), the non stocked room fridge, the early closing bar, having to purchase bottled water from reception, the tatty pool table in the foyer. But all of these issues were minor and overall the hotel was nice and superb value for money.

Stunning location
The hotel is situated in THE most stunning location! The staff are all very friendly and helpful. There are plenty outdoor facilities suitable for families only a short walk away. The hotel is located a short walk away from Benhavis which is the most beautiful little town with a vast number of absolutely amazing restaurants/cafes/bars - something for everyone. Wonderfully relaxing stay!!

I have stayed here numerous times and it continues to offer excellent value, facilities, staff (notably Sebastian!) and service. I have one gripe though. The pools need to be cleaned better as there is continuously a film of muck on the surface. This could easily be skimmed off daily via a fishing type net and would only take an hour in total I estimate. Otherwise the hotel is pretty faultless.

A rather noisy stay
We stayed in early May. We returned as although this hotel is perhaps a little dated and basic, we love the town and also the outside areas of the hotel are amazing. Unfortunately we were not warned that there is significant building work going on close to the hotel meaning that our plans for a snooze in the sunshine after an early flight were impossible. To top it off (and even noisier) was the jet washing of the awnings right next to the top pool which went on constantly for the two days we stayed. Also worth a mention was that we thought the continental breakfast had improved since our last stay but the hot items were lukewarm at best and worth a miss. I think we were a bit unlucky on this trip. Staff are great though, very friendly and helpful.

A lovely Spanish hotel in a bueatiful place
Lovely place to stay Booked the hotel for a cheap couple of days away . The hotel is a lovely Spanish hotel . Some areas need a little tlc but it’s very clean . The hotel was getting ready for the holiday season and there was cleaning of different areas happening . This didn’t bother us and also a new development been built so there was some noise during the day but again that didn’t bother us . We can’t wait to go back at the end of a busy season as it was so relaxing lying by the pool alone and then walking up to town for a beautiful meal in the many restaurants available xx

Hotel was rustic, had lots of Spanish charm & was individual. It has a feel of being original and individual. It was not following a chain of hotel ‘rules’ but instead it was making you feel welcome and comfortable.
