Good location, nice room

Posted 20-Jul-2016
The room is good and the location is very convenient. Breakfast is average but the people are nice. One thing not so good is they did not make up my room even I have the sign on the door

Nice hotel in the centre of city

Posted 19-Jul-2016
Pros: Size and quality of the room
Cons: Water pressure!
Location: Easy walk to convention centre and Piccadilly Gardens and main train station.
Everything good, room large, modern furniture and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Only issue was that I was on the 5th floor and there was a serious issue with water pressure. The shower temperature kept changing and the pressure kept reducing - presumably when someone else turned a tap on? Toilet cistern also took a long time to refill. Other than this minor irritation it's a very nice hotel.

Nice hotel close to everything!

Posted 19-Jul-2016
Pros: The beds are comfortable and the toiletries smell good! Spacious room and there are elevators! Nice and helpful staff!
Cons: The shower is not powerful enough and the water drainage is also not that good... This can be improved.
Location: The location is close to shopping area and there are a lot of good restaurants nearby!
The room is clean, spacious and with nice decoration. There is also Nespresso coffee provided. A very well-equipped hotel. Early check-in was permitted as there was room available. There is also luggage storage service after you check out. We had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel. The breakfast was 10 pounds per person which is very nice with many choices.

Lovely hotel in city centre

Posted 04-Jul-2016
Pros: Central, well equipped, clean and modern.
Location: The hotel is central just a 5 minute walk to Piccadilly Gardens. I went to O2 Apollo Academy and it was about 25 minute walk.
Lovely hotel with equally lovely staff. Rooms have all of the things you would expect (hairdryer, iron, safe etc.). It's central so within easy walking distance of the city centre. I did struggle to find the carpark but that was because I'm not familiar with Manchester and was using a satnav!

Central to all museums, music, theatres.

Posted 04-Jul-2016
Cons: We would have preferred to have more lights in the room.
Location: Great location, excellent transport. Art galleries, museums and Bridgewater Hall, home of the Halle Orchestra are all within a short walk.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly and the rooms were very clean. We did not eat here so I can't make a comment about the food.

Lovely hote

Really nice hotel located within walking distance of lots of restaurants and bars. Close to Arendale shopping centre. Room was lovely and big (executive double). The bathroom was lovely also. One thing I'd change though is the lighting in the main room and bathroom, as they're quite low and so was harder for me to do my makeup in dim lighting.

Cheerful staff, great location

A very positive stay at the Townhouse. Was in for business and stayed a week, enjoyed the food in the lounge area and the staff were always helpful and cheerful.

Nice hotel.

Posted 30-Jun-2016
Pros: Location is good and the decor is lovely. S re very comfortable.
Cons: Lighting in the actual sleeping area not good for reading or general tasks only two bedside wall lights. Elderly customers could struggle.
Location: Location is good and within walking distance of central shops etc
The hotel in general looks lovely lounge dining area etc however the room we were given a family room was on first impressions very nice, however a few disappointing issues. Firstly, the shower was not acceptable my daughter had a shower and the water ran hot then cold then hot then freezing. The water would not soak away and was lapping over the the edge on to the bathroom floor. The three of us could not all have a shower or the room would have had a good few inches of water. There seemed to be only one bath towel ( later ) told others in wardrobe but as only there for one night no one required to use the wardrobe. In the morning at 9.30am the cleaner arrived at the room asking us to leave as he had the beds to change etc check out time could be up to 11.am. On the plus side the staff on reception were extremely helpful and the cocktails were gorgeous.
