The first room we were offered had no natural daylight and was very hot The ground floor room we were given was basic but clean No fridge and no tv controller

Wasn’t sure what to expect after reading some reviews but have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is convenient for town centre which is just a short stroll. The rooms were large and clean, yes the carpets are worn but I was more than happy with our stay and would certainly stay again.

Really clean and friendly, upgraded our room after first night as toilet was running all night, only thing is it states there is a bar, but forgets to mention it doesn’t sell alcohol!

The room was advertised as a deluxe twin which, in my mind, means that two, non intimate, people can share the room. I booked the room to share with my 27 year old son because we travelled to manchester for a concert. We just needed a clean bed for the night with a bathroom. Points to note: *The bathroom has no door and faces out onto the twin beds and the ground filler street outside. This is very awkward in terms of taking a shower, as one person has to go elsewhere whilst the other is in the bathroom. *Only two pillows and one towel provided which suggests that this is really only a single room. *The shower is over the bath which is fine. What isn’t fine is that the bath is too high off the ground and there is a 10cm tiled edge to the bath, making it really difficult to step out of the bath if you are short. I am 5.2” with standard length legs (29”) and sustained a nasty graze to my inner thigh trying to get out.

We had a really nice stay, staff were very polite and helpful when ever asked anything, room was really spacious and clean. About a 10 minute walk to Spinneyfields and surrounding areas, would definitely stay here again.

I was fairly satisfied with the room, I liked the high ceilings and large floor plan. However, there were stains on the carpet in the hallway (and in my room), on some of the blankets and linens, and some rubbish on the floor. It did not feel like it had been cleaned very well between guests.

Be warned !! This property will demand another payment before you can check in . Staff will be rude and demand this , even if you’ve paid in advance and even sent emails concerned they may do this because you’ve read reviews they do . They really do The girls were in a rush so one had to pay £177 on her card even tho they had solid proof I had paid over a week ago and it was all processed . Won’t return

Had to move as the room had no heating and was freezing. Old room was horrible but the new room was much nicer. There isn’t much of a welcome when you arrive. Never heard of breakfast stopping at 9.30 at a hotel which is ridiculous. Lobby is dreary and horrible. Parking was easy though.

The family room was a brilliant size and the property was so clean all through. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The one thing that could be better is some parts of the room require a little tlc, nothing major though and nothing that would stop me booking again.

The hotel is clean and tidy the bar at the hotel only serve non alcoholic drinks. We were looking forward to a glass of wine after seeing PeterKaye. The guy at the bar waved his finger at us and so no itwas prohibited! Breakfast is also stricty halal. This is fine but if the owner wants to apply his religious preferences to my hotel stay he should at least point this out before you book. There was no indication on expedia. I have stayed in many hotels owned and operated by jewish people who dont mind providing an English Breakfast. I would never dream of staying here again.

The room was clean and spacious, nice bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and staff were very friendly. I was informed on checking in that parking is chargeable, I was unaware of this prior to arriving. This should have been communicated on the hotels.com site and booking information, I would have booked an alternative hotel if I’d been made aware
