The room was spacious, separate sitting area, walking distance to all the city attractions. Great for a short stays for a solo traveller or a couple.

Unexpectedly Surprised
First experience in the UK outside of London and loved it! Great options with the pub. Hotel room was nicely appointed and larger than expected. Loved the atmosphere and courteousness of the staff.

Great stay at Abel Heywood. Good room. Pub was really nice downstairs. Good location (right next to Arndale) breakfast was fantastic. Service all round superb.

I had quite high expectations of this property as it got great reviews and they market themselves as a 'hip' hotel on Google. However I was quite disappointed. On arrival I found the person who checked us in to be quite lackluster. We hadn't booked an accessible room with an adapted bathroom but this is the room we were given, but this wasn't mentioned to us at check in. What if someone who needed this facility then wanted to book a room? The bed was also pretty hard and uncomfortable and the room got cold overnight. Disappointed.

Would stay again.
Perfect access for the city centre. Room lovely, bed comfy. We had some of the small dishes in the evening, which were yummy. Best part - the staff. Thank you all. Only negative was we were too warm, but both have skin conditions, which mean we couldn't use the air conditioning.

Excellent all round!!!!
We had a king deluxe and it was a beautiful room. Modern, stylish, comfortable and clean. We had dinner and breakfast and the food and atmosphere was excellent. Staff were also excellent all round from checking in, to the bar, restaurant, everyone was amazing This is more like a 4 or 5 star boutique and I would highly recommend it

OK central stop over
Hotel rooms adjoin a pub. I was on the fround floor but no noise from the pub or street which was good. One light not working and wifi did not work. Wifi was reported but was not fixed. Some water noises from the shower drain, I assume from other rooms pipework. Graffiti on the outside of the window which faced onto a small side road. Area was busy on a Saturday night.

Great birthday break
Had a lovely 2 night stay for my birthday. Room was clean and no noise from the street. Check in and check out was smooth with friendly, knowledgeable team. We had one evening meal and one breakfast, both were tasty. I had the chicken burger and my partner had the gammon. Would definitely recommend to friends or family staying in Manchester.
