Not a great hotel, with very odd room numbering that means people get lost going around the hotel. My room smelled as if someone had smoked in the room and they didn't service my room on day 2. Not recommended

Not what you’d expect… for all the best reasons 😊 We were amazed at the shear volume of the hotel - despite this I thought Delta was in very good condition, lovely facilities… the pool and spa is a star attraction and when looking at the photos upon booking gave it the WOW factor… certainly did not disappoint us! The room itself was just what we needed; practical, clean and comfortable! It was certainly pleasant and probably the nicest airport hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The area was obviously fit for purpose but the hotel didn’t let loud outside noises spew in including the nearby motorway and planes overhead… I wasn’t disturbed once so I therefore give ‘Excellence’ in area around based on how convenient it was. Staff on front desk were very helpful and extremely lovely upon our check in… particularly the blonde lady with glasses (I really wish I had her name) she made us feel welcome and engaged with us and was very helpful. Only slight flaw for us was the lack of response to room service but it was late so hey ho!

We were really looking forward to this stay, and then we got here. Took over 40min to check in, staff didn’t know what they were doing. We then entered the room (after a long walk to it, with a 2yr old and accessories). Glasses dirty, glass table top loose and sliding everywhere. Very unsafe. To top it off when we told reception about this, she didn’t even apologies or seem interested. A blank expression on her face reassured us we won’t be going back

Good airport hotel but needs new beds
Great size room, beds far too soft and bouncy, not firm at all. Very clean hotel, attentive staff.Good food selection at breakfast.

Disappointing experience
Disappointing stay. Staying in numerous hotels each year this was one of the poorest overall experiences. On the surface the hotel is very nice and it was undoubtably clean and well maintained. However, my list of annoyances is more than I have experienced in any other hotel. I was not told a photo ID would be required to check in which led to a very long and tortuous experience having to find someone to go to my house to take a picture of my driving licence. The lady on reception was completely unhelpful and very much of the "computer says no" school of service. The room was clean and the bed comfortable but the television did not work and the shower only produced tepid water at best. Food wise my minute steak in my sandwich in the evening had been cooked for significantly longer than a minute! Whilst beans and scrambled egg at breakfast were stone cold.
