Everything about the Lowry is wonderful starting from the friendly staff to the relaxed atmosphere everywhere. The rooms are spacious and modern, the breakfast is excellent and the lunch delicious, too. It is a short walk away from the shopping streets of Manchester. There is quite a lot of construction ...
Great hotel!!! Went for my boyfriend’s birthday and the room had a balloon in as requested on arrival. They also then surprised us with a complimentary mini cake for him! Staff were great and the room was beautiful (stayed in a King Deluxe). Will definitely stay here again!
Excellent!!! That is the best word I can use to describe this hotel. I highly recommend this hotel. Keep up the good work
Friendly staff and a nice place, used it as a base around a night on the town and very happy with it.
Manchester may once have thrived on its industry, but today it's tourism that is bolstering the city's economy, with the well-heeled counting Manchester as one of their most popular destinations for a weekend break or longer stay. Discerning travellers will find luxury hotels within easy reach of designer shops, fine dining restaurants and cocktail bars, whether you prefer to stay in historic chain hotels, an apartment hotel in the city centre or an independent hotel.
As well as the usual amenities, four and five-star hotels in Manchester offer luxurious little extras to make your stay special. Whether you're enjoying a family holiday, treating yourself to a weekend away with friends or celebrating a special occasion with your partner, little touches such as designer toiletries, bathrobes and rainfall showers will ensure you enjoy a relaxing break. Many luxury hotels boast full-service spas where you can be pampered before a big night out, indoor pools and health clubs, so you can stay active on your break.
If your idea of a great night out is drinks and dancing, then Manchester is the perfect destination. Many luxury hotels are located close to Old Trafford, so you can rub shoulders with Premier League Players over a cocktail or two before heading for Oxford Road, where you'll find some of the city's most eclectic dance clubs. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy a drink at Cloud 23, on the 23rd floor of the Hilton at Deansgate. With attentive table service and incomparable views over the city skyline, it's the perfect destination for a date or special night out. You'll find plenty of options for dining in the city centre too, whether you prefer Japanese Teppanyaki, Korean street food or Michelin-star restaurants.
If you know what you like, you're going to love Manchester's luxury hotels and serviced apartments. Expect 24-hour room service, concierge services, on-site restaurants and in-room amenities such as flat-screen cable TV and DVD players. Some hotels even have iPod docks, so you can listen to your favourite tracks as you prepare for your night out.
